3. History In 1996 a group of IT pioneers started Global Lynx, to assist leading technology providers such as HP, BMC and IBM with the delivery of IT consulting services for IT Service Management (ITSM). This group of people were early-pioneers in ITIL implementations. Since then, over 100 projects related to improving, implementing, or transforming IT services, processes, tools, and monitoring have been executed by Global Lynx consultants, in five countries. In 2007 Global Lynx also became an ATO (Accredited Training Organization) for IT training and certification programs, on leading IT standards and frameworks. Today, Global Lynx offers a comprehensive portfolio of IT management courses and certifications. In 2015, Global Lynx moved its USA headquarters from San Jose, CA to Columbus, Ohio.
