MPLS Dax DX-6510GTE-L3 next-generation data center 40G switch has advanced hardware and software architecture design, built-in modular 1+1 redundant power supplies, 4+1redundant fans, cross ventilation and wind direction adjustable. Dax DX-6510GTE-L3 supports data center features such as Data Center Bridging*, VEPA* fully applicable to the data center TOR (Top of Rack) application requirements of the switch. DX-6510GTE-L3 includes 48*10GE SFP+ ports and 4*40G QSFP+ ports. DX-6510GTE-L3 supports IPv6 with hardware and passes the IPv6 form certification Phase II. With the abundant IPv6 features, the product can also work for next generation network. DX-6510GTE-L3 is ideal for cloud computing data center server access, core switch of small to medium data center. For campus or other large network, DX-6510GTE-L3 could also be deployed at aggregation or core layer as its high performance and reliability. Key Features v 48SFP+ ports, 40G QSFP+ ports VRRP v Data Center features 802.1Qbb, 802.1Qaz, 802.1Qau, IEEE VEPA, DCB v Static routing, RIP, OSPF, BGP4 for Ipv4/ Ipv6, VRRP v MPLS support v IGMP v1/v2/v3, PIM SM/DM/SSM RPS v MLD v1/v2, MLD snooping v1/v2 v Anti IP packet DOS attack/ packet attack v VSF(Virtual Switch framework) v IEEE 802.1x security function v IPv4/IPv6 Dual Protocol Stack with IPv6 Phase II implementation v Redundant power supply

Full Data Center Features As new generation data center switch, DX-6510GTE-L3 supports full data center features such as DCB*(Data Center Bridging),VEPA*(Virtual Ethernet Port Aggregator), which not only improves the efficiency, guarantees the flexibility, but also enhanced the scalability of datacenter network. Advanced Routing Dax DX-6510GTE-L3 deliver hardware based IP routing for both IPv4 and IPv6. RIP v1/v2, OSPF v2 and BGP4 provide dynamic routing by exchanging routing information with other Layer 3 switches and routers. DVMRP, PIM-SM, PIM- DM and PIM-SSM Multicast Routing Protocols send IP multicast traffic from one subnet to another to support maximum data streams. IGMP snooping features forwarding of multicast packets for live streaming of voice and data without any swell up in network broadcast congestion. VRRP prevents your system from failing by dynamically backing up multiple L3 switches for routing. Open Flow DX-6510GTE-L3 supports OpenFlow 1.0 and 1.3 standard protocol. OpenFlow network is increasingly becoming a trend as the core protocol of SDN network. It makes the network easier programming OpenFlow brings the high performance to datacenter users via self-defined network. With OpenFlow, this product is ideal to build SDN test-bed for research institutes and SDN Experimental Bureau for large ISP and operator.. Comprehensive QoS Virtual Switch Framework could virtualize multiple Dax switches into one logical device, achieves the sharing of information and data tables between different switches. The performance and ports density of virtualized device are greatly enlarged by many times under VSF. VSF also provides simplified management work for network administrator and more reliability. Enhanced Security DX-6510GTE-L3 support IEEE 802.1X port-based access control and MAC-based access control to ensure all users are authorized before being granted entry into the network. Access Control Lists (ACLs) can be used to restrict access to sensitive network resources by denying packets based on L2/ L3/L4 header information. Secure Shell (SSH) encrypts network management information via Telnet for secure network management. RADIUS Authentication enables centralized control of the switch and restricts unauthorized users from altering the configuration of the switch. Anti DoS attacks ensures high security to the network.

MPLS DX-6510GTE-L3 supports MPLS L3 VPN/MPLS L2 VPN(VPLS) and helps customer to construct more secure/extendable network. With max.255 VRF instances, DX-6510GTE-L3 series could be deployed as P & PE devices, guarantees the variety of services. Ipv6 support DX-6510GTE-L3 switches support IPv6 routing in hardware for maximum performance. As the number of network devices increase and the need for larger IP addressing and higher security becomes critical, the DX-6510GTE-L3 is the right product to meet requirements. Furthermore, DX-6510GTE-L3 switches support phase II implementation of Ipv6 with complete routing and management features.
