GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 What is required to get access to this service? 1.2 What equipment is necessary? 1.3 Requirement for you as user. 2. Network Connection. 2.1 Partner Package. 2.2 Login 2.2.1 Create pin code 2.2.2 Log in 2.3 Log out 3. Troubleshooting

1. General information 1.1. What is required to get access to this service? For external partners/suppliers, responsible principal in Västra Götaland must apply for access using the customer side. 1.2. What equipment is required? For you to access the service requires a computer with one of the following supported operating systems: Windows 7 and newer Windows versions 1.3. Requirements on users When connecting to VGR VPN your computer will be scanned to check its security level. You must have an active and updated antivirus software on your computer (it s your own responsibility to manage that) 2. Network connection 2.1. Partner Package Please note that you must be a local administrator on your computer to install the partner package. If you do not have local administrator privilege please contact your internal IT department and ask them to help you. To download Partner Package, please visit http://cfwebb.vgregion.se/vgrvpn Partner package is in zip format. Download the package to your computer and unzip it. Please note that you cannot install it in the zipped format. After unpacking the partner package, open the folder and choose to run the file called "Install VPN". When installation is complete the following window will show: After this, restart your computer. 2.2. Log In To log in to the service, you need a PIN code + an RSA token box. If this is the first time you connect, you must create a PIN code. If you already have a PIN, you can skip the next section and go directly to Chapter "2.2.2 Login" 2.2.1. Create PIN The first time you use your RSA token box you must create a PIN. You will have to do this when you initiate the connection for the first time. Go to the Start menu on your computer and select: Applications/Cisco/Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client/Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client

This will start the VPN Client program. The window looks like the one below: Click the "Connect" button. This will initiate the connection and you get the following login window: Here you should enter the following: User Name = your VGR ID Passcode = the 6 pieces of digits that appear in the RSA token box Once you've done this, you get the following window: Choose a 4-digit PIN code of your liking and press Continue. You will get the following window: It is important in this window that the information in the box Connection Banner says Login failed: PIN accepted. Wait for the next card code before trying again.

Wait until the numbers in RSA token generator has been changed and then re-enter: User Name = your VGRID Passcode = your PIN + the six digits that appear in your RSA token box. An example: Your VGRID is anna786, your PIN is 1234 and RSA token code generator shows the number 123456. When you enter anna786 as username and 1234123456 as Passcode and then click OK. When you have made a successful login you will get the following icon in the lower right corner of your screen next to the clock. If there is a lock, it means you have a secure connection and can now start communication from your local computer to the VGR's network. The most common access external users use is https://management.vgregion.se 2.2.2. Login Once you have created a PIN, you only need to follow these steps. Go to the Start menu on your computer and select: Applications/Cisco/Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client/Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client This will start the VPN Client program. The window looks like the one below: Click the "Connect" button. This will initiate the connection and you get the following login window: Here you should enter the following: User Name = your VGR ID Passcode = your PIN + the six digits that appear in your RSA token code generator.

The most common access by external users use is https://management.vgregion.se 2.2.3. Logout To disconnect, you right-click on the lock in the lower right corner next to the clock and choose "Quit/Exit". 3. Troubleshooting If something is not working as it should please check the following: 3.1. Do you have the partner package installed? Check this in Control Panel / Uninstall program: 3.2. If the above section 3.1 are completed, VGR IT needs a diagnostics file to continue the troubleshooting. To create a diagnostics file please follow these steps: Go to the Start menu on your computer and select: Applications/Cisco/Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client/Cisco AnyConnect Diagnostic and Reporting Tool This will start the following program where you click on "Next":

In the next window, the following must be selected before clicking on "Next": This may take a few minutes depending on the capacity of your computer and when completed the following window appears:

Please check the window for information on the path where the resulting Bundle file can be found. Click "Finish" and submit the Bundle file to your responsible principal in Västra Götaland who will pass it on to VGR IT.
