Button Overview: Button Descriptions: - ON/OFF: Power switch - PLAY / PAUSE/ CONFIRM: 1. Long press to power on/off. ***NOTE: ON/OFF switch must be set to ON in order for the unit to turn on. 2. Short press toggle play / pause. - HOME/MENU: 1. Short press to access main menu. 2. Short press to show submenu. - UP/VOL+: Short press to increase volume in play mode or move cursor up in other modes. - DOWN/VOL-: Short press to decrease volume in play mode or move cursor down in other modes. - RIGHT/NEXT: Short press to play next song in play mode or move right in other modes. - LEFT/PREV: Short press to play last song in play mode or move left in other modes. RETURN: Short press to jump back a screen. MIC: Built-in microphone USB: USB connection port Mini SD Card Slot: Expands the memory capability. Headphone Jack: Standard headphone jack Mini SD Card: Insert Mini SD Card. Enter any directory (video, photo, text) and the device displays two drives: Internal Memory or SD CARD. Press UP [ ] or DOWN [ ] to highlight Internal Memory or D:SD CARD, then press PLAY [ II] to enter. Button Descriptions: 3

Loading music, pictures, videos or ebooks to the MP3 player. NOTE: This MP3 player is only compatible on PC s and laptops running Windows 2000 or newer. This unit will not work with Apple operating systems. 1. Connect the MP3 player to your PC or laptop with provided mini USB (B) cable. Windows should detect, install, and auto play the device. (MP3 Player s FLASH drive (F:) *** NOTE: If Windows doesn t run auto detect, click on My Computer and select FLASH drive (F:). 3. Open the folder that contains the music, pictures, videos, or ebooks that you want to load on the MP3 player. 4. Drag and drop the file(s) from your PC to the MP3 player s FLASH drive (F:). 2. Under General Options select Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer. This will open the MP3 player s FLASH drive (F:). You can also highlight a selection of files, right click, and select Copy. Next, right click on FLASH drive (F:)and select Paste. This will also transfer files from your computer to the MP3 player. 4

Playing Music. Playing Video. Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight MUSIC, then press [ II]. Press PLAY [ II] to enter the All Music menu. Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight desired track, then press [ II]. Music Screen Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight VIDEO, then press [ II]. Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight desired video, then press [ II]. Play Video Screen Volume Control: Press [ ] or [ ] while in the music screen to increase or decrease the volume. Play Modes: Press HOME while on the Music screen to access repeat mode, play mode, and equalizer options. Volume Control: Press [ ] or [ ] while in the video screen to increase or decrease the volume. Deleting Videos: Press [ ] or [ ] highlight the video you want to delete, then press HOME to delete. ***NOTE: This device will only play AVI video. 5

Viewing Photos. FM Radio Screen Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight PHOTO, then press [ II]. Press PLAY [ II] to enter the PHOTO menu. Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight desired picture, then press [ II] to view. Press HOME while viewing a picture to access Auto Play Times. Volume Control: Press [ ] or [ ] while in the FM Radio screen to increase or decrease the volume. FM Options: Press HOME while on the FM Radio screen to access auto/manual scan, memorize, and preset options. FM Radio. In the MP3 Player directory, double-click on the Video File Conversion Utility file and a window will pop up and ask you if you want to install this program onto your PC. Click on Yes and make the destination of this program in your Documents folder or on your Desktop for easy access. 5. Once installation is complete (which may take 2-5 minutes) you are now ready to follow the instructions below for easily converting most video file formats to properly play on this device. Converting a Video File AVI is one of the most popular video formats in portable media and is also a very compact format making the best use of valuable player memory space. A). Open the AVI CONVERTER utility program and the screen below will appear. Before any Video files can be loaded on this player, you must first convert the video files into the proper AVI format and size using the Video File Conversion Utility program we have preloaded into the flash memory of this player. Before this Video Utility can be used, it must be installed on your PC by using the following instructions; 1. Connect the Player to your PC with the included USB Charging and Transfer Cable. 2. Once your PC has identified there is a USB storage device connected, it will ask if you want to view the contents of the newly connected storage device. Indicate Yes to view the contents of the flash memory device 3. The Video File Conversion Utility is located in the root menu of the player. B) Select the ADD button to begin the process of converting a video file and the screen below on the left will appear. C) Set the resolution in the upper box to: 220 Pixels by 176 Pixels 9

C) Select the Source file. This is the location of the Video File on your PC or other connected device that you want to convert. Click the right-side of this box to access the drop-down menu and easily locate the video file to convert. D) Select the Target File Path. This is the location you want to the converted video file to be placed. This location can be anywhere on your PC. Click the right-side of this box to access the drop-down menu to easily chose the destination for this converted video file. E) Target File Name: This is the name you want to assign to this converted video file. F). Select the recommended conversion Settings for Quality: High and Aspect Ratio: Full. G). After all of the above settings are made for a video file ( Scope is not a required setting), press the SAVE button and continue to add another video file to convert or you can press END to return to the previous interface. H) Click on Convert Now to begin the conversion process. When the progress for each video file reaches 100%, the screen will show if the file has been successfully converted. I) Once the video file is successfully converted, it can now can now be moved into the MP3 player using the Drag & Drop method. Troubleshooting: Newly added music titles are not visible in the All Music list; Scroll to the main MUSIC function, press enter, scroll to highlight Media Update and press enter and all the music titles will now be visible.: 10
