" The PCI card's Solaris driver must be 'Hot- Plug' aware. " Cards can be easily added/removed by notifing Solaris in one of two ways: Using the slot control panel OR Using Solaris command(s). " During a hot-plug operation, a 33MHz adapter cannot be connected to a 66MHz slot.
