1.0 Simplifying Password Changes Changing the Portal password has been made easier with the introduction of a password strength indicator. The Username and password screen will display a useful list of password requirements as the password is being reset and a green tick will appear when each security requirement is met. The Confirm button will be visibly disabled until all the security criteria are met. This avoids any potential frustration with multiple unsuccessful attempts at changing the password. 2.0 vpbx PIN Security Enhancements The security around changing the vpbx PIN from the Portal, has been updated and is now aligned to that of the BT One Phone Service menu. Whilst a new PIN code is input, the various strength requirements are visible; as each security criteria is met a green tick is placed next to it. If the security criteria is not met then a red cross is displayed next to the requirement. Figure 2: Changing the vpbx PIN Table 1: VPBX Password Security Rules VPBX Password Security Rules 1.
