Thi data heet provide pecification for S&C Current Senor particularly when the Scada-Mate Switch i ued in application where the RTU i upplied by other. S&C Scada-Mate Switche include integral enor for three-phae monitoring of line current and ingle-phae monitoring of ytem voltage. Senor for three-phae voltage ening or for voltage ening on both ide of a normally open witch are optional. All enor are of molded S&C Cypoxy contruction and erve a upport inulator for the witch live part, thereby eliminating the cot, clutter, and complexity aociated with eparately mounted enor. The current enor are aturating-type enor and do not require horting witche. Thee enor have a current ratio of 600:5 and can drive conventional current tranducer. The output of thee current enor at primary current in exce of 1600 ampere i a ditorted waveform that may affect the performance of certain fault detection cheme. See Figure 2 on page 3. The voltage enor portion of the S&C Current/Voltage Senor i a contant-current output device like a current tranformer and, therefore, primary fuing (required by voltage tranformer) i eliminated. Burden are available to provide either 5-volt ac or 69-volt ac output. A voltage limiter i alo provided inide the bae of the Scada-Mate Switch to protect the voltage enor in the event the econdary circuit i inadvertently opened or the burden i removed. For certain application, the voltage enor portion of the S&C Current/Voltage Senor i ued to provide control power input to an S&C Battery Charger and battery pack for operating the Scada-Mate Switch. In thee application, the voltage enor cannot be ued for voltage ening and cannot be ued to power any uer-upplied equipment. Typical amplification factor for voltage enor up to the 17th harmonic are provided in Figure 4 and 5. The current enor repone i eentially flat for all harmonic, therefore, no correction of econdary current harmonic meaurement i required. Superede Data Sheet dated 3-6-95 c2003 Page 1 of 5
