1 Overview HUAWEI TalkBand B2 (B2 for short) is a smart wrist band that integrates functions of sport assistant, sleep monitoring, and Bluetooth calling. It's your smartphone's best companion for business and entertainment. It helps you learn about your health status and can also work as a Bluetooth headset. The B2 supports: Motion status detection (walking, running and so on) Sleep statistics collection Bluetooth calling Connection to two smartphones Calorie calculation Exercise target setting Activity reminders Smart alarms Remote control for smartphone camera Time display The B2 can connect to a phone through Bluetooth. Download and install the Huawei TalkBand application on the phone to easily manage the data of the B2. Figure 1-1 shows the profile of the B2. 2 Product Functions and Application Scenarios 2.1 Pairing with your phone Step1: Download and install the application on your Android device or iphone. For iphone users, download the application from App Store. For Android phone users, download the application from Google Play Store. Step2: Connect your device to the B2. Note: The B2 can be simultaneously connected to two smartphones. 2.2 Fitness Monitoring The B2 can automatically detect and monitor your motion status. The application lets you set exercise reminders and targets, meaning. When you are exercising, you can check your real-time fitness statistics and even share your achievements with your friends. 2.3 Sleep Monitoring HUAWEI TalkBand B2 V200R001 If you go to bed wearing the B2, it can collect your sleep information, record your deep and light sleep statistics, and wake you up through smart alarms. If you simultaneously press the two side buttons on the B2, the Bluetooth headset pops out and provides you with the Bluetooth calling function: answer, reject, and end calls; adjust the volume. 4 System Architecture 4.1 System Architecture Figure 4-1 shows the system architecture. Figure 4-1 System architecture 4.2 Functional Modules 1. Network communication interface: The B2 connects to your phone through Bluetooth and exchanges data with the application installed on your phone. The USB port is used for charging. 2. Micro control unit (MCU): The micro processor of the B2 that controls the information displayed on the OLED screen and vibration of the motor, and implements functions, such as alarms and step/calorie counters.
