DIGITAL RELAY OF PROTECTION AND AUTOMATION SERIES PC83 AND PC830 PC83 and PC830 series devices are designed to perform the relay protection functions and 6-154 kv networks automation, have different functionality with common design features and main technical characteristics. DESIGN Structurally, the PC83 and PC830 are performed in the form of a block frame with functionally completed modules - "Typical Elements of Substitution" (TES). Each TES is a single board design with built-in front of the connection through the backplane to the inside circuit device and the terminal at the rear for external connections. Connectors and terminals for external connections are fixed to the vertical metal plate, which is the completion of TES and at the same time part of the rear wall of the device. CONFIGURATION, PROGRAMMING OF INTERNAL LOGICS, SETPOINTS All operations on configuration of devices before commissioning can be carried out using the keyboard of Digital relay or using a special software CODIS. When working with the program all the settings and digital relay setpoints can be saved as a file for later modifying or uploading into the device. In emulation mode of CODIS software the digital relay setpoint file can be created and saved even in the absence of the device. "Measurement and control" mode CODIS allows you to display on your computer screen the current values of currents, voltages, their vector diagram. To view the oscillograms there is RZA Oscilog software. AN EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE CODIS WINDOWS 10
