TruVision Navigator 7.0 Release Notes P/N 1073274A-EN REV A ISS 20APR17 Introduction This is the TruVision Navigator 7.0 Release Notes with additional information not covered in the user manual. For the latest information on TruVision Navigator 7.0, go to: Americas: http://www.interlogix.com/videoupgrades EMEA: www.utcfssecurityproducts.eu Australia: www.interlogix.com.au Overview The TruVision Navigator 7.0 Release Notes cover the following: Summary of new features and key enhancements Summary of bugs fixed Summary of limitations (known issues) Summary of new features and key enhancements Windows 10 support was added. Server offline mode. The Navigator client can still operate with a limited feature set in a client/server configuration when the server is offline. Real-time bandwidth monitoring of the client computer. Storage calculator that calculates total storage per day and total storage capacity requirements based on camera types and configuration. 2017 United Technologies Corporation. Interlogix is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corporation. All rights reserved. 1 / 5

Websites can be added to the Navigator panel for viewing and navigating in the Viewer panel (www.interlogix.com is built-in). TruPortal access control panels can be added, permitting connected doors to be unlocked in the Navigator panel. Logical views can be added to the Navigator panel, providing the flexibility to display the physical devices in any configuration required. Logical event filtering, which provides a way to create customized, interdependent notifications from cameras connected to recorders as well as doors connected to TruPortal access control systems. TVK-400-USB keypad/joystick support and connection indicator. A button was added for adding a new user in the user tab next to the import button. New camera icons were included for maps. The color of the camera icon on a map changes during an alarm or event. The default Max number of main streams was changed to 16. The Navigator logo appears in the video window when the window is blank. Video player errors now appear in video tiles. This is intended to make the errors more noticeable to the user. A zero (0) was added to the Max number of main streams drop-down. When zero (0) is selected all video opens in a sub stream. A new permission called Configure Client was added. This can control changes to the client tab including the maximum number of main streams. Diagnostic polling: when a device is offline, the status in the Navigator panel indicates it is offline. All Interlogix plug-ins (cameras and recorders) are installed during the installation process. Custom views now save the main/sub stream information. The capability to pause streams that are not currently visible after 30 seconds on a video tab was added. A checkbox was added to client settings (Pause Background Video). The user can turn off this function if they choose to keep streams open in the background. The device MAC address was added to Notifier messages. The Collector panel can now be collapsed. All internal graphics (icons, etc.) now support 4K. 2 / 5 TruVision Navigator 7.0 Release Notes

A checkbox in the client tab was added that restores the last state (default is unchecked). If selected, the last configuration appears at startup and viewer video tiles, tabs, etc. appear as in the last view state. The multi-view layout can be locked so that it does not dynamically change. Added Network Statistics under the device context menu. Bandwidth usage of each recorder is available for viewing. If a user does not have permission to see a device in the Navigator panel, it will not appear. The "All Cameras" checkbox was added to the Disk analysis and Search screens so that a search for cameras that may have been removed and have data recorded can be executed. Connection Priority was removed. This is a legacy feature that is no longer supported New VCA events are supported: Region Entrance, Region Exit, Unattended Baggage, and Object Removal. Added a camera sequence (Slideshow) option to the Custom Viewer. Enhanced the fisheye dewarping to be more responsive. POS Mode is now per tile based on the tile context menu. Any camera can be set to fisheye mode via device properties. Supports these TruVision cameras: TVB, TVC, TVD, TVE, TVF, TVW, TVP, TVT, TVQ, UVP, RS. Added support for TVR 15HD, TVR 45HD, TVN 22. Intrusion events are reported in the Notifier for recorders that support this feature (TVN 21 (FW 3.1), TVN 22, TVR 15HD, TVR 45HD). Summary of bugs fixed Fixed an issue where Navigator did not send out an email to create a new user account when using SMTP. Fixed an issue with diagnostics polling when upgrading from TruNav 6.x. Encrypted user name and password for SMTP emails in the database. Summary of limitations On some computers, the Client Download HTML page may be rendered as raw HTML instead of a formatted page. The fix is to replace the server name in the URL with the server IP address. TruVision Navigator 7.0 Release Notes 3 / 5

The TVR 15HD web plugins need to be installed manually as it is not compatible with other recorders. TVR 45HD factory default does not use default credentials, so the user will not be able to add TVR45HD via discovery. The device appears in Navigator as offline. FIPS is no longer supported. TruVision Navigator and Standalone player cannot play an H.265 video clip that was recorded via local recording from TruNav 6.0 SP1. Search is not working for TVD-5404 due to a firmware issue. SQL Server installation is no longer supported in Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server due to Microsoft s decision to end-of-life those products. When upgrading an existing TruNav SQL Server system, the database will be converted to the Internal Database format used by Navigator. TruVision Navigator Setup will show Unknown Publisher if the Entrust Root Certification Authority - EC1 is not installed in Windows. The USB keypad/joystick must be calibrated prior to use. If the joystick is not properly calibrated, it will produce erratic movement even when idle. See the Using the TVK-400-USB keypad section in the TruVision Navigator 7.0 User Manual or go to: http://www.howtogeek.com/241421/how-to-calibrate-yourgaming-controller-in-windows-10/ Unable to play the exported file (size > 4.0 GB) from TVN 20. Frame Step reverse does not reverse as per the frame rate set. The TVN 70 device is disconnected when installing the UTC web component on the IP Camera. Flickering is observed when scrolling the camera browser to view contents. Audio glitches occur when the "Enable Audio From Recorder" option is enabled. Camera Integration issue: Motion metadata is not showing in playback from the TVF Camera. Motion metadata is not displayed when playing back video from a TVD-3205 camera connected to a TVN 21S device. Save Custom Views are not auto-synced the user has to restart the application. For TVN 21 (FW 3.1), TVN 22, and TVR 15HD: The user needs to search for Alarms and cannot search for intrusion events. 4 / 5 TruVision Navigator 7.0 Release Notes

The intrusion events are reported in the Notifier but no cameras are linked to the events. Legacy devices are still present but are no longer being supported.
