General ipage Webinars Ingram staff regularly delivers webinars to share tips and tricks for using ipage. Selection Lists Sort Selection Lists by quantity Using the newly-released Search Result View option for Selection Lists, users can now sort the items in their selection list by quantity. This is an easy way to spot potential errors such as 0 quantity items. Simply click on the List Qty column header to sort. Notify other users about a selection list Many library customers use a workflow whereby one person creates a selection list, another person adds quantities, and yet a third person orders or downloads the list. Today, each user notifies the next user via email when the list is ready for the next step. Ipage now includes the ability to notify another user in your account about a selection list automating this type of process. This feature is available only for SHARED or PUBLIC selection lists. On the main Selection List page, SHARED and PUBLIC selection lists will include a dropdown called Notify. The options available in this dropdown are usernames of other ipage users in your account. Select the user you want to notify, and confirm the action in the pop up following.
The user selected from the dropdown will receive an email about the list AND this list will be routed to a new INBOX folder for the receiving user (if the receiving user has enabled folders for selection lists). This feature does not enable a user to distribute a selection list to many users. It is simply a notification tool to assist with the workflow mentioned above. Improve Selection List paste feature Users can create a new selection list by pasting a list of ISBN s/ean s into the Create New List field highlighted below. When the source list contains both ISBN s and EAN s (such as an ipage search result page), duplicate items were created into the selection list. This issue has been fixed so that duplicates will NOT be created where both ISBN and EAN exist for a single product. Note this paste box is also smart enough to remove information that is *not* an ISBN or EAN. Try it!
Ordering Quick Order Cart add ability to download Users can now download the contents of the quick order cart, using any of the available download format options currently available in selection lists. Items will remain in the cart after the download and the user can opt to remove them if desired. This will enable users to keep records of items ordered, or will enable download from the cart and subsequent upload into a POS or Acquisition system for ordering from that source. Enable sorting of backorders by Pub Date When viewing order status information in ipage, you can now sort Backordered items by Pub Date. Orders / Order Status / Backordered Items
Marketing Materials Link to Product Detail Did you know that ipage includes free marketing materials for your bookstore or library? These are available under My Account / Ingram Services / Marketing Materials. Choose from different types of materials such as Author Biographies, Bookmarks, Flyers, etc. The results of a Marketing Materials search now link directly to the product detail information for that item.
