Apple Pay FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS At Park Bank, we want to make it easy and secure for you to use your credit card to make payments in stores and online. That s why we re pleased to offer Apple Pay with your Park Bank Visa credit card. Before you get started, here s some information to read. HOW DO I GET STARTED USING APPLE PAY? This is what you ll need to get started with Apple Pay. Note, for up-to-date information on Apple Pay and supporting devices, go to www.apple.com. iphone 6, 6S, 6 Plus, 6S Plus, 7, 7 Plus, SE ipad (5th generation), Pro (12.9 inch), Pro (9.7 inch), Air 2, mini 3, 4 Apple Watch (1st generation), Series 1 &2 paired to an iphone 5 or later ios 8.1 or later United States as your selected region Touch ID or passcode on the device icloud account Park Bank Visa Platinum or Rewards credit cards I HAVE ONE OF THOSE DEVICES. NOW HOW DO I SET UP APPLE PAY? Before making a payment with your Apple device you will need to follow a few simple steps to add your existing Park Bank credit card to Apple Pay. If you have your Park Bank Visa credit card on file with Apple (itunes) and it s eligible for the service, you will be offered an option to use it as your default account for Apple Pay. If not, you can go to Settings, then open Wallet & Apple Pay, and select Add Credit or Debit Card. You can also open the Wallet app on your main screen. To add a card just tap on the plus sign in the upper right corner. You will then have the option to either take a picture of your physical Park Bank credit card or enter the information manually such as your name, address, card number, expiration date, and the three digit Security Code that can be found on the back of your card. To add additional cards, like the Park Bank debit card, just tap the plus sign and follow the instructions. To add your card to the ipad Air 2 or ipad mini 3, go to Settings, then Wallet & Apple Pay, and then tap Add Credit or Debit Card. On the Apple Watch, open the app on your iphone, then tap Wallet & Apple Pay and then Add Credit or Debit Card. Note that the first card you add will become your default card, but you can

select a different card when making payments or by changing the default setting. We, of course, encourage you to use your Park Bank credit card as your default card. At this time, Apple will allow you to store up to 8 cards on your device. After you enter your card information, you will be asked to verify it. To do this, you will be asked to call a toll-free number for verification purposes. More information to come soon from our provider. For information on Apple s Wallet, click on the icon on your screen. WHAT PARK BANK CARDS CAN I USE WITH APPLE PAY? Currently, you can use the following Park Bank cards for payments: Park Bank Visa Platinum or Rewards. However, Park Bank is working with Visa and Apple on adding the debit card soon. Please note, Apple Pay does not currently offer this service for business cards. We hope that this will be a feature in the future. CAN I USE THE SAME CARD ON MULTIPLE DEVICES? Yes, you can add your Park Bank credit card on multiple devices, but please note that you will need to add your card to each device separately. WHAT IS A DIGITAL ACCOUNT NUMBER? Apple Pay uses a Device Account Number instead of using the 16-digit card number found on the front of your card. This number is securely stored on your Apple device(s) and used to make purchases. Your credit card number is NOT stored on the device or on Apple servers. This helps to reduce the potential for fraud. It also helps to simplify checkout by eliminating the need to enter and re-enter your account number when buying items within mobile apps or at the point-of-sale. For the techies in the world, the Device Account Number is also called tokenization, and it uses a one-time-use security code via a specific device. This token is then translated to Park Bank and Visa. HOW DO I PAY IN STORES? It s really easy. First, you have to have Apple Pay set up, and the store needs to be able to accept this form of payment. Currently there are over 220,000 stores that accept Apple Pay and more are added to the list daily. To find out if a store accepts Apple Pay, look for one of these symbols at the checkout:

To pay for your transaction, hold your iphone near the contactless reader while your finder is on the Touch ID. Your phone will produce a subtle vibration and beep to notify you that the transaction took place. To pay with your Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and then hold the Apple Watch display up to the contactless reader. A tap and beep will confirm that your payment was made. HOW DO I MAKE A PAYMENT WITHIN AN APP? Using your iphone 6, ipad Air 2 or ipad mini 3, you can conveniently check out with Apple Pay and your Park Bank Visa card. Simply follow the onscreen process such as selecting the Apple Pay icon and placing your finder on the Touch ID screen prompt. Below are examples of the Apple Pay app icons. Buy with HOW SECURE IS AN APPLE PAY TRANSACTION? Your Park Bank card is protected by Touch ID and/or the Passcode on your device. When you make a purchase on your device, you will need to use Touch ID or your Passcode. Note, payment information will be encrypted via a chip in your device for additional security. IS THE APPLE PAY SERVICE AVAILABLE INTERNATIONALLY? At this time, Apple Pay is only available in collaboration with certain U.S. financial institutions, like Park Bank. The availability of Apple Pay outside the U.S. will be determined by Apple. CAN I USE APPLE PAY TO MAKE CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS INTERNATIONALLY? More to come on this. Currently, we believe this is available but this is determined by the merchant terminal owner. DO I NEED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET? For in-store contactless payments you do not need to be connected to the Internet.

HOW WILL THIS KEEP MY INFORMATION MORE SECURE? By using a Device Account Number, you no longer need to share your personal account information when you shop, which reduces the threat of your sensitive data being stored or compromised. It s simple, only the Device Account Number is passed on and your payment details are never actually shared with a merchant. Plus the information is encrypted for an additional layer of security. In addition, if your device is ever lost or stolen, in many cases you will not need to cancel your Park Bank card, but you will want to cancel the Device Account Number, which can be obtained by contacting the number listed for Apple Pay or Park Bank. You may want to research icloud.com to register your Apple devices using Find My Phone and then activate the feature on your iphone or ipad. Then, if your iphone or ipad are lost or stolen, you can quickly put the device in Lost Mode to suspend Apple Pay via icloud.com. In any case, please contact Park Bank At Your Service immediately at 608-278-2801. Once you receive your new device, simply add your Park Bank card to your wallet. In the meantime, you can continue to use your physical Park Bank card without interruption. WILL I KNOW IF MY DEVICE ACCOUNT NUMBER IS BEING USED? A Device Account Number will support a seamless payment experience. If you use Park Bank s mobile banking app or Park Bank s Online banking, you can set up alerts. Please contact Park Bank for information on alerts or notifications. CAN I REMOVE MY DEVICE ACCOUNT NUMBER STORED ON MY APPLE DEVICES? Yes, you can easily delete an account from your device. If you delete your digital account you will still be able to continue to make purchases with your physical Park Bank credit card. ARE MY PURCHASES PROTECTED UNDER VISA S ZERO LIABILITY? Yes! Whether you use a Device Account Number or a physical Park Bank Visa card, you are protected with Visa Zero Liability against fraudulent transactions 1. Please contact Park Bank for more information. WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION ON MY CARD? Whether you use a Device Account Number or a physical Park Bank Visa card, you are protected with Visa Zero Liability against fraudulent transactions 1. Please contact Park Bank for more information.

IF I LOSE MY APPLE DEVICE AND IF SOMEONE STARTS USING IT TO MAKE PURCHASES, AM I LIABLE FOR THOSE PURCHASES? Whether you use a Device Account Number or a physical Park Bank Visa card, you are protected with Visa zero liability against fraudulent transactions 1. Please contact Park Bank for more information. WHAT INFORMATION IS STORED ABOUT MY PURCHASES? Transaction information that is stored is kept anonymous and recent purchase history is kept private. The information is stored only on your device and not on Apple servers, nor is it used for Apple marketing. Recent transactions can be viewed in your Passbook for your convenience only. WHAT IF MY PHYSICAL VISA CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN? Please contact the telephone number listed on the back of your card and/or call Park Bank at 608-278-2801 or 800-325-3678 as soon as possible. Once you receive your replacement card from Park Bank, you can add your new card to your mobile wallet. IF I SELL OR GIVE MY APPLE DEVICE TO SOMEONE ELSE, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE DEVICE ACCOUNT NUMBER AND INFORMATION IN THE DEVICE? If you sell or give away your Apple product(s), you should delete all digital accounts in Apple Pay. You should reset your phone to factory settings which will also remove all digital accounts. If you forget to do this, contact Park Bank immediately so that we can contact our card provider. WILL I CONTINUE TO EARN REWARDS POINTS FROM MY PARK BANK PLATINUM AND REWARDS CREDIT CARDS? Yes, you will continue to earn your reward points.

WHAT WILL APPLE PAY TRANSACTIONS LOOK LIKE ON MY MONTHLY STATEMENT? Your transactions will appear as they do today on your statement. WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I RECEIVE A NEW, RENEWED OR REPLACEMENT CARD? To add a new card, you will go through the initial set up of providing the basic payment details to add the card to Apple Pay. For a card renewal or replacement, the new expiration date will be automatically provided from Visa to Apple seamlessly, with no action required by you. WHAT IF I NEED TO RETURN AN ITEM? Any returns will be processed the same was as they currently are done today. However, individual merchant return policies may vary. WHAT PAYMENT INFORMATION WILL BE ON MY RECEIPT? Receipts should look the same as they always have. However, in some cases, receipts created from using the Device Account Number may print the last four digits of your digital account which may differ from the last four digits of your physical card. WHERE CAN I VIEW THE FULL TERMS OF USE? Please contact Park Bank and Apple for the terms and conditions for the service. WHO SHOULD I CONTACT FOR GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT MY DEVICE ACCOUNT NUMBER? 1 The Visa Zero Liability policy covers U.S. issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa, or certain commercial card transactions. Cardholder must notify issuer promptly of any unauthorized use. Consult issuer for additional details.
