Infrmatin in these Applicatin Ntes has been btained thrugh DevCnnect cmpliance testing and additinal technical discussins with Stratus. Testing was cnducted via the DevCnnect Prgram at the Avaya Slutin and Interperability Test Lab. 1 f 7
1. Intrductin The purpse f this dcument is t ensure that Avaya Aura Cntact Center (AACC) applicatins are cmpatible with Stratus ftserver 6310 (Stratus 6310) running n VMware. The AACC applicatins namely Cntact Center Manager Server, Cntact Center Manager Administratr, Cmmunicatin Cntrl Tlkit and Cntact Center Manager Multimedia are installed n the Stratus 6310 and tested fr basic functinalities. The Stratus ftserver 6310 is a fault-tlerant system that uses replicated hardware that perates in lckstep and thereby supprting applicatins that are business critical. During integratin, ftserver 6310 is tested t make sure that abve mentined AACC applicatins are installed successfully and that ftserver 6310 truly behaves as high availability server. 2. General Test Apprach and Test Results The AACC applicatins were installed n Stratus 6310 running VMware. The basic functinality f the Cntact Center applicatins were tested and assessed t see if there were any negative impacts when the Stratus 6310 server was put under defensive testing. 2.1. Interperability Cmpliance Testing The interperability cmpliance testing fcused n verifying Stratus 6310 server fr the fllwing: C-resident installatin f Cntact Center Manager Server and Cntact Center Manager Administratin. C-resident installatin f Cntact Center Manager Server, Cntact Center Manager Administratin and Cmmunicatin Cntrl Tlkit. Standalne installatin f Cntact Center Manager Multimedia. Basic functinalities f Cntact Center Manager Server, Manager, Multimedia and Cmmunicatin Cntrl Tlkit. Defence and Recvery f Status 6310 server s CPU/Memry, IO enclsures, Netwrk ELAN/CLAN, Strage disk and Pwer. Ntes: During cmpliance testing it was nt pssible t test C-resident installatin f Cntact Center Manager Server, Cntact Center Manager Administratin, Cmmunicatin Cntrl Tlkit and Cntact Center Manager Multimedia due t shrtage f strage size n the disks. Cntact Center Manager Multimedia was therefre tested in standalne envirnment nly. 2.2. Test Results The bjectives utlined in Sectin 2.1 were verified and met. Basic tests were executed and passed with an bservatin. Observatin: During recvery f Input/Output (IO) enclsure f the Stratus 6310 server the embedded client f Cmmunicatin Cntrl Tlkit (als knwn as ref client) lses lgin cnnectin and user has t lgin again. There is n impact n any f the running services f Cntact Center applicatin during this recvery. 2 f 7

Memry 16GB VMware ESX vsphere Client ftserver Sftware Guest Operating System Guest Memry Guest Disk Guest Ethernet 4.0.0 Update 2 4.0.0 3.1.2.0 Windws Server 2008 R2 Standard with Service Pack 1 (64-bit). 8GB 136.25 GB 1GB Duplex (CLAN), 1GB Duplex (ELAN). 5. Cnfiguring the Avaya Aura Cntact Center Applicatins Installatin and cnfiguratin f AACCapplicatins are beynd the scpe f this dcument. Assumptin is made that all required applicatins are successfully installed and cnfigured. In brief, Cmmunicatin Server 1000 was cnfigured with an Applicatin Mdule Link (AML) and desktp agents. The AACC applicatins were installed and cnfigured n the ftserver 6310 s that it can cmmunicate with the Cmmunicatin Server 1000 using the AML. 6. Cnfiguring the Stratus ftserver 6310 Installatin and cnfiguratin f the Stratus 6310 server are beynd the scpe f this dcument. Assumptin is made that all required Stratus ftserver hardware and sftware are successfully installed and cnfigured. In brief, the ftserver 6310 is installed with the VMWare sftware and laded with the Windws perating system. AACC applicatins are then installed n the server fllwing the guidelines as mentined in Sectin 5. Fr cmplete infrmatin n Stratus 6310 server installatin and cnfiguratin refer t Sectin 9[2]. 7. Verificatin Steps The fllwing steps were perfrmed t verify the integratin between AACC and Stratus 6310 server: C-resident installatin f Cntact Center Manager Server and Cntact Center Manager Administratin including basic functinality and stability testing. C-resident installatin f Cntact Center Manager Server, Cntact Center Manager Administratin and Cmmunicatin Cntrl Tlkit including basic functinality and stability testing. Standalne installatin f Cntact Center Manager Multimedia including basic functinality and stability testing. Defense and Recvery testing f CPU/Memry and IO enclsure by using the bringdwn and bringup cmmands. Defense and Recvery testing f Netwrk ELAN and CLAN by manually discnnecting the Ethernet cable. Defense and Recvery testing f Strage disk by manually pulling the strage disk ut f the server. Defense and Recvery testing f Pwer by manually discnnecting the pwer cable. Ntes: During cmpliance testing, Cmmunicatin Cntrl Tlkit was tested using the ref client and Cntact Center Manager Multimedia was tested using Avaya Aura Agent Desktp in vice mde nly. 8. Cnclusin The basic test cases with respect t installatin and stability f Avaya Aura Cntact Center applicatins n Stratus ftserver 6310 server has passed and met the bjectives utlined in Sectin 2 with an bservatin mentined in Sectin 2.2. 9.
