TAS Network Gateway Ready for SWIFTNet 7.0! With effect from the 31st March 2012 it is mandatory for all SWIFT network users to adopt SWIFTNet 7.0 for the management of their network connections and SWIFT protocols. TAS solutions inside the Network Gateway support SWIFTNet 7.0 and permit full use of new functions as described in SWIFT documentation SWIFTNet 7.0 Service Description and SWIFTNet 7.0 Messaging Operations Guide. In this document New SWIFTNet 7.0 functionalities SWIFTNet FileAct V7 SWIFTNet InterAct V7 TAS products for SWIFTNet 7.0 GGTFM FOR FILE MANAGER 3.0 GGTFM FOR MESSAGE MANAGER 3.0 Payments Engine TAS Network Gateway Networks Business Driver Business Driver Business Driver BOA BIC X APPL 1 APPL N BIC X APPL 1 APPL N APPLICATION ADAPTERS (MQ, DB) EAI File Manager File Broker Message Manager Network Protocols Network drivers for file exchange FILEACT RNI FT EBICS Network drivers for message exchange FIN INTERACT RNI MSW SWIFT Domestic BT Others

TAS GROUP New SWIFTNet 7.0 Functionalities The new SWIFTNet 7.0 functions relate to applications that send and receive traffic via InterAct and FileAct protocols, using one or more of the following modes: InterAct Store-and-Forward (SnF), FileAct Store-and-Forward (SnF) and FileAct Real-Time. Detailed information about new functions are available in SWIFT reference documentation: SWIFTNet 7.0 Service Description and SWIFTNet 7.0 Messaging Operations Guide. New functionalities SWIFTNet FileAct V7 FileAct V7 - File Y Copy and T Copy FileAct V7 - RMA Management FileAct V7 - Enhanced Store-and-Forward Delivery Options FileAct V7 - General security enhancements FileAct V7 - System Message New functionalities SWIFTNet InterAct V7 InterAct V7 - MX Message Y Copy and T Copy InterAct V7 - RMA Management InterAct V7 - Enhanced Store-and-Forward Delivery Options InterAct V7 - General security enhancements InterAct V7 - System Message TAS products for SWIFTNet 7.0 The TAS Network Gateway products which manage InterAct and FileAct protocols are: GGTFM for File Manager and GGTFM for Message Manager. Both products are implemented to be compatible with the new SWIFTNet 7.0 functions and to ensure full usability.

TAS GROUP GGTFM for FILE MANAGER 3.0 New SWIFTNet FileAct V7 Functionalities FileAct V7 - File Y-Copy and T-Copy SWIFTNet Copy is a feature which permits the automatic generation of a copy of a File Header for one or more third parties and can be used in services operating in SnF mode. The two SWIFTNet Copy modes are named T-Copy and Y-Copy. Definition of SWIFTNet Copy mode is achieved at service level by an Administrator and can be either mandatory or optional. In T-Copy mode the original file is delivered to the recipient without any dependence on receipt of the file header copy by third parties. In Y-Copy mode the file header copy is delivered to the third party who authorises delivery of the original file to the recipient. In the event of a third party refusal, the file is not delivered and the sender is informed of the refusal. This new FileAct protocol function will be used in the settlement services environment in a similar way to the current FIN Copy services e.g. TARGET2. FileAct V7 - RMA Management Permits the activation of RMA Authorisation Checking Functions available with SWIFTNet 7.0. RMA - CHECK AUTHORISATION-TO-SEND Send before sending a file to the network. RMA - CHECK AUTHORISATION-TO-RECEIVE Receive before receiving a file from the network. RMA IMPORT RMA AUTHORISATION Allows the import of RMA Authorisations, used for control functions, in SWIFT RMA File Distribution format. FileAct V7 - Enhanced Store-and-Forward Delivery Options SNF SHARED QUEUE Use of output channel permits the sharing of a single SnF Queue by more than one output channel. This function is useful when there is a need to receive FileAct SnF traffic on different systems that are operating concurrently. To use this option it is necessary to configure the queues in shared mode.

TAS GROUP FileAct V7 - General Security Enhancements With SWIFTNet 7.0 there will be two modes to manage the Signature of FileAct traffic. Firstly, there is Crypto mode, used with FileAct to sign/encrypt authentication information. Secondly there is the SignatureList mode, used with FileAct to sign from a Digest of Authentication information. The two modes are alternatives; the choice being made on the basis of the FileAct network service being used. NEW SECURITY SIGNATURE LIST The Signature List mode is available for the digital signature of sent and received FileAct traffic. FileAct V7 - System Messages All new SWIFTNet System Messages, sent and received by SWIFT, are managed for FileAct RealTime and SnF traffic. New System Messages will be used for the management of FileAct network services, for example: Delivery Notifications or authorisation messages related to Y-Copy services.

TAS GROUP GGTFM FOR MESSAGE MANAGER 3.0 New SWIFTNet InterAct V7 Functionalities InterAct V7 - MX Message Y-Copy and T-Copy SWIFTNet Copy is a feature that permits the automatic generation of a copy of a complete or partial message (Total or Partial) for one or more third parties, and can be used in services operating in SnF mode. The two SWIFTNet Copy modes are named T-Copy and Y-Copy. Definition of SWIFTNet Copy mode is achieved at service level by an Administrator and can be either mandatory or optional. In T-Copy mode the original message is delivered to the recipient without any dependence on receipt of the file header copy by third parties. In Y-Copy mode the message copy is delivered to the receiver if third party authorises the delivery of the original file to the recipient. In the event of a third party refusal, the message is not delivered and the sender is informed of the refusal. This new InterAct protocol function will be used in the settlement services environment in a similar way to the current FIN Copy services e.g. TARGET2. InterAct V7 - RMA Management Permits the activation of RMA Authorisation Checking Functions available with SWIFTNet 7.0. RMA - CHECK AUTHORISATION-TO-SEND Send before sending a message to the network. RMA - CHECK AUTHORISATION-TO-RECEIVE Receive before receiving messages from the network. RMA IMPORT RMA AUTHORISATION Allows the import of RMA Authorisations, used for control functions, in SWIFT RMA File Distribution format. InterAct V7 - Enhanced Store-and-Forward Delivery Options SNF SHARED QUEUE Use of output channels permits the sharing of a single SnF Queue by more than one output channel. This function is useful when there is a need to receive InterAct SnF traffic on different systems operating concurrently. To use this option it is necessary to configure the queues in shared mode. INPUT CHANNEL The use of Input Channels permits the management of multiple sessions for sending InterAct SnF messages to SWIFTNet. Comparable to what occurs in the FIN protocol with the use of logical terminals, the use of Input Channels permits the attribution of a session and unique sequence number to all MX InterAct messages that facilitates checking and management of sending operations. A default Input Channel is created at the point of SnF Service subscription. It is possible to request the definition of additional Input Channels on the basis of InterAct traffic needs.

TAS GROUP InterAct V7 - General security enhancements With SWIFTNet 7.0 there will be two modes to manage the Signature of InterAct traffic. Firstly, there is Crypto mode, used with InterAct to sign/encrypt authentication information. Secondly there is the Signature List mode, used for signing with InterAct to sign from a Digest of Authentication information. The two modes are alternatives, the choice being made on the basis of the InterAct network service being used. NEW SECURITY SIGNATURE LIST The Signature List mode is available for the digital signature of sent and received InterAct traffic. InterAct V7 - System Messages All new SWIFTNet System Messages, sent and received by SWIFT, are managed for InterAct SnF traffic. New System Messages will be used for the management of InterAct network services, for example: Delivery Notifications or authorisation messages related to Y-Copy services. GGTFM FOR MESSAGE MANAGER 3.0 New Application Adapter With Message Manager release 3.0, back office applications can adopt the new file-based data exchange mode by utilising the file system. Messages can be inserted in files using RJE format; in addition, it is possible to configure the separator character of messages. With this new feature, back office applications have greater flexibility of product use and can select the most appropriate mode for data exchange.
