IP Receiver Introduction 1 IP RECEIVER INTRODUCTION MTeye s IP-Receiver is an advanced solution for the reliable delivery of both alarm and video images in real-time, directly from the AlarmView panel to the operator's screen. 1.1 Overview MTeye s IP-Receiver is the ultimate answer for all CMSs (Central Monitoring Stations) small to large, MTeye s receiver is a powerful client-server application operating on GPRS/IP transmission, which simultaneously supports an unprecedented amount of IP sessions and accounts. MTeye s robust store and forward server application handles all transmission from the AlarmView control panel to the CMS s automation software, supporting up to 1,000 simultaneous IP sessions on one machine. Alerts appear on the operator s work station at the unrivaled speed of 3 seconds for alarm events, and 60 seconds for Pre-Alarm, Alarm and Post Alarm color video images**. For the effective verification of false alarms MTeye s AlarmView pioneer solution integrates between the IP-Receiver and CMS automation software server, supporting the majority of monitoring automation software protocols available on the market today. 1.2 Available Protocols An additional option enables the integration to the CMS server and automation software using ContactID output, compatible with Ademco685 and Surgard protocols, including a separate Event- Viewer on remote PC stations that shows the captured images of Video events. This additional option is mostly useful for automation software that does not support the display of video events on the operator s screen. MTeye s comprehensive AlarmView solution manages and supports the entire event sequence, from the alarm s initial occurrence to its immediate alert with real-time verification on the operator s monitor station. 1.3 Platform The advanced application works as a Windows-Service, with built-in supervision mechanism, event-buffer back-ups and convenient admin dashboard and viewer for high-performances at all times. Designed not to require special user intervention, the receiver's application IP Receiver Page 2

IP Receiver Introduction running on Services Mode is launched automatically with configurable auto recovery mechanism and a keep alive, periodic test signal feature ensuring the security system is always connected and active. The receiver's client-server solution supports remote Dashboard and Event-Viewer Web application enabling the admin to remotely monitor the server, configure setups, and view all incoming alerts and history buffer, which stores the last 500 database stored events. The IP-Receiver solution is scalable and can be expanded to handle a large number of accounts. On an ordinary PC or Laptop it can simultaneously handle up to 100 IP sessions, easily managing over 2,000 video-event accounts. When upgraded into a powerful server it can simultaneously manage over 1,000 IP sessions and accordingly scale up to many thousands of accounts*. 1.4 IP Receiver Key-Features TCP/IP event transmission Over 100 simultaneous IP sessions (over 2,000 active video accounts) on one server*, scalable to 1,000 simultaneous sessions and more. Alarm Events typically received within 3 sec Video Events typically received within 60 sec** Periodic test report ( Keep Alive heartbeat) on selectable intervals Extremely Low Bandwith Communication Protocols: o GPRS/ContactID for systems without video zones o GPRS/Video CID for combination of video/non-video zones Encrypted transmission for both sent and recived data for high privacy assurance Two-way dynamic authentication History buffer stored on database last 500 events Application type: Windows Service Client-server Web-application tools: o Admin Dashboard monitor and setup configuration o Event-Viewer application Output Protocols for integration with Automation Software server: o LAN / RS232 outputs o MTeye-Generic Interface protocol for Video and CID Events o ContactID output - Ademco (685) / Surgard compatible o Video outputs to Automation software s: Bold-Manitu, IBS o Tailor-made / customized integrations are available upon request. Remote Firmware upgrade & support using Windows server embedded remote capabilities *The number of simultaneous sessions is scalable and dependant on the server s hardware ** The time required for event and video reporting is dependent on the cellular operator Page 3 IP Receiver
