How to edit your website Before creating a new website, we recommend taking the time to register the domain name that you want to use for your website. It s possible to start the process without the domain name, but there is a possibility of someone else registering the same domain name you wanted to use while setting up your new Kigo website. You can access your website by login to the Kigo App and clicking on Websites > EDIT or VIEW 2

KIGO PLUGIN The first time you enter into your Kigo Wordpress Dashboard you will see a Welcome message 3

2.1 INITIAL SETUP Now is time to review how the KIGO plugin works! First of all, please verify that the temporary domain is correctly placed in the SITE URL of this section. Before going live and while the domain name does not match with the domain name entered in the KIGO app, this message will appear: *This message doesn t affect the normal functionality of your site and once you go live will disappear. 2.2 DATA SYNC From this menu you can create the default pages for your website (Home,All rentals, My list/favorites, Attractions, About us, Owner information, Guest information, Travel insurances, Contact us, Make booking, Booking confirmation, Rental policy, Terms of use) When you click CREATE DEFAULT PAGES, a pop up window will open and after a few moments, a list of all the new pages will be displayed. 4

Step 1 > Click on the CREATE DEFAULT PAGES button. Step 2 > It will open a small pop up window asking to CONFIRM. Please accept it. 5

Step 3 > A new window will appear after a few seconds. It will display the list of pages generated by the system. 6

The numbers in the parentheses apply to the theme number while the names apply to their names in our theme gallery. 2.6 TAKE ME LIVE This section explains how to bring your website live. First of all, you will need to buy a DOMAIN name from a registrar company (Godaddy, OVH, 1and1, etc.) Once you 9

receive access, you will need to find the DNS zone for that domain. Please edit the DNS zone and create the following: A record pointing to 137.117.72.13 CNAME record pointing to the Value inside the Value column for that section. *Please confirm with our support team if the domain name is the same that you initially give us, in case it s different some changes will necessary to be done on our settings. 2.7 ADVANCED In the ADVANCED section you will find 4 different fields that are very useful for your statistics traffic manager: Display related websites: here will appear all the sites created in your account. FAQ: Can we add extra widgets/plugins in the system? There is no way to add extra widgets or plugins to the system. Can we change the template to another one once it is set up? Yes, you can change the THEME easily but take into account that every THEME will require some adjustments. We recommend changing the THEME only 1 / 2 times per year because it may affect the SEO indexation. Can we ask for changes to the template? Some template/css code changes can be done by yourself using the THEME CUSTOMIZATION. Example of changes that can be done by yourself: Theme colour (website elements such as buttons, footer etc) Font type Font size Logo positioning Layout adjustments (for example, if content is overlapping due to text being too long) For any other changes or requests you will have to contact our Professional Services team. 53
