The process 01 Candidate completes the registration form and submit CV, highest academic document and ID/passport online at cgmaonlineregistration.com 02 CIMA admits the candidate into the programme. Candidate pays the fees in full. 03 Candidate attends revision classes to prepare for the exams. 04 Candidate sits for the exam. 05 Candidate receives the respective award.
Frequently asked questions 1. What is the type of study support available? You have an option of face to face revision classes in partnership with FTMS or online study. 2. How long will it take to prepare for the exams? Preparation for the case study exams will take about six to eight weeks. 3. When do I sit for the exam? There are four windows a year when you can sit for the case study exams (February; May; August; and November). 4. Where do I sit for the exam? You can sit for the exam at any of the Pearson Vue test centres nearest to you. 5. What is the structure of the exam? The exam is computer-based and it is three hours long. It is set within a simulated business context relating to one or more fictionalised organisations and it is based on a real industry. Six weeks before the actual exam, CIMA issues the case study pre-seen material. It gives you an opportunity to preview the case study and learn about the industry. On the real exam day, the unseen material will be provided to you, with questions that you will need to answer. The case study incorporates calculations, short answers and essays. Its focus is on application, analysis and evaluation. 6. How do I become a CIMA member and a CGMA designation holder? After successfully completing all the CIMA exams including the final Strategic Case Study exam, you must submit an application for CIMA membership. Once your membership application is approved, you will be admitted as a member of CIMA and become a CGMA designation holder.
