BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE Please charge fully before use. You may charge via your PC or the adapater that may have been included with your device. Do not use other adapters, as they may damange your device. 1. Be sure that the status light is OFF. 2. Plug USB cable into device first. 3. Plus other end of USB directly into your PC. Note: USB hubs may cause your device to not work properly, so always use a direct USB port when charging or accessing your device. No files are needed to use this device. NEEDED FILES HEADPHONE ADAPTER Earbuds have been included with your watch. You may also use other headphones by using the included headphone jack adapter.
POWER ON 1. Hold the PLAY button until the Green status light appears. You are now in Stand By Mode. PLAY YOUR MP3 FILES 1. In Stand By Mode, you are ready to play your MP3 files. Press PLAY to start playing your MP3s. The green status light will flash while playing your files. 2. To skip tracks, use the FF and REW buttons to move up and down your list of tracks. 3. To pause playback, quickly press PLAY. The green status light will slowly blink. Press PLAY again to unpause. 4. To return to Stand By Mode, hold PLAY for 2 seconds, until the green status light is steady. RECORDING 1. From Stand By mode, hold the RECORD button until the Red status light appears. It will be steady. You are now in Record mode. 2. Press RECORD again. Both status lights will appear. Then, the green status light will go dark and the Red status light will start blinking. You are now recording. 3. To Pause your Recording, press the PLAY button quickly. The Red status light will blink slowly while you are paused. To unpause, press PLAY again. 4. To Stop recording, press RECORD quickly. The Red status light will be steady. PLAY YOUR VOICE RECORDINGS 1. From Stand By Mode, press the RECORD button until the Red status light appears. 2. Press PLAY, and your most recent recording will start playing. 3. To skip between recordings, press FF and REW. POWER OFF 1. Hold the PLAY button until both status lights go dark. VOLUME CONTROL 1. During playback of your MP3 files or voice recordings, you can adjust the volume up and down by holding the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons.
WHERE DO YOUR MP3 FILES GO? MP3 files must be placed in the correct location for your watch to play them properly. When you connect your watch to your PC, it will appear as an external drive. Copy your MP3 files into the main folder of your watch. Do not put them into the folder called RECORD. Your MP3 files can be standard MP3 encoding, from 8-320Kbps. YOUR VOICE FILES Your Voice Recordings are saved in the folder called RECORD.
WINDOWS - RETRIEVE YOUR FILES 1. Device must be OFF before connecting to your PC. 2. Connect USB cable to watch first. 3. Connect other end of USB cable to your PC using USB port directly on PC. Note: A USB hub may cause your device to not work properly. 4. Please wait until Windows recognizes your device. This may take several seconds. Note: the first time you connect your device, Windows may install standard drivers. This is normal. 5. Access your device as you would any standard Flash Drive. 6. COPY your files from the device to a folder on your PC. 7. You may now highlight and DELETE the files from your device. 8. Be sure to properly EJECT your device from Windows before unplugging it. MAC OS X - RETRIEVE YOUR FILES 1. Device must be OFF before connecting to your Mac. 2. Connect USB cable to watch first. 3. Connect other end of USB cable to your Mac using USB port directly on Mac. Note: A USB hub may cause your device to not work properly. 4. Please wait until Mac recognizes your device. This may take several seconds. It will mount as a Device in your FINDER. 5. Access device as you would any standard FLASH DRIVE. 6. SPECIAL NOTES TO MAC USERS! 7. To properly save your files to your Mac, MOVE your files, rather than copy. 8. Create a folder on your Mac. 9. Highlight the files on the device. 10. CMD CLICK and drag the files to your folder. Let go and choose MOVE. 11. To properly empty your device on Mac, be sure to Empty your Trash Can before ejecting the device. 12. Be sure to properly EJECT your device from Mac before unplugging it. Thank you!
