Nissan Techmate Video Bescope Introduction The Tech. Cam is a precision tool designed to allow a technician to view into inaccessible locations. It has a detachable wireless monit that enables the image to be viewed while the camera is in a confined area. The images and video can be saved onto the monits memy and transferred to a PC. These files and images can then be distributed f inspection. Features Allows f easy surveying of small, hard-to-reach places. Mini 5.5mm waterproof LED lens, 1.0 meter flexible tube. Manufactured and tested to IP67 waterproof standard. 3.5-in. TFT-LCD detachable/mountable monit, built-in rechargeable Li-battery. Video recding capability, suppts up to 32GB micro SD card. Adjustable brightness on lens-mounted LED light. Lightweight, hand-held design, flexible and convenient to use. Multi-language suppt. Nissan Techmate Video Bescope Initial Set-up To Install Batteries in the camera handle: 1. Remove the battery cover as illustrated below. Attaching Camera To connect the flexible tube camera with control handle, first make sure that the keyed end of the tube is aligned with the slot in the handle, then use slight fce to push them together. Once properly aligned, twist the threaded knob clockwise until the connection is securely in place. Keyed end plugs into socket Fasten the threaded knob 2. Remove battery compartment and insert four AA batteries into their appropriate slots, with proper ientation, as indicated on the battery compartment. Attaching Monit To attach the monit, place the slot on the back of the monit over the tab on the camera handle. Push down on the monit until it clicks into place. Slide the monit 3. Reinstall battery compartment and replace battery cover. Installed successfully Page 4

Nissan Techmate Video Bescope SD Memy Card After SD card is successfully inserted into SD card slot, an SD card icon will appear on the monit screen; otherwise, the no SD card icon will show. Monit Reset Procedure If the monit appears to be locked up unresponsive, reste the facty defaults. To do this, insert a paper clip into the hole located on the back of the monit labeled reset and depress the reset button using the paper clip. To Connect USB Cable Use the provided USB cable to connect the monit to any PC with a USB slot. Your computer should automatically recognize the new hardware, which you may browse by double-clicking on the My Computer icon on your desktop, and then navigating into the Mobile Disk directy. To Connect Monit Power Connect the monit to an appropriate (100-240V - 50/60Hz) power source with the provided adapter to charge and the charging icon will flash on the LCD screen the status indicat lights yellow. Turned off, the status indicat lights red during charging. Basic Operation 1. As you roll the power switch to turn on the camera, the power indicat on the camera handle will light. The rolling switch then acts as a dimmer f the twin LEDs that surround the camera on the end of the flexible tube. Recding Video 1. In real-time moniting mode, press the button on top of the monit to begin recding. 2. Press again to stop recding. Playback Videos Pictures 1. In real-time moniting mode, press the button to toggle to the video/picture folder. 2. Press the end and buttons on bottom of the monit to select your desired folder, and then press the OK button to toggle to the right interface. Rewind: press and hold on the button f about 2 seconds (In the fast-fward rewind mode, press the OK button to return to nmal play mode.) Stop/Exit: press the MENU button 4. F view pictures: Press the button to select your desired video, press OK button to view and press again to exit. Press the button to toggle between different frame rates. Once your desired rate is selected, press OK button to confirm and exit. Time Stamp Setting 1. In the setting mode, press the button to select RECORDER SETTING, and then press OK 2. Press the button to select Time Stamp and then press OK 3. Press the and buttons to toggle between On and Off. Once your desired selection is made, press OK button to confirm and exit. PC Software Use To download recded files to PC: 1. Connect the USB cable from the monit to the laptop and power on the monit. 2. The dialogue box should start automatically. Select copy pictures to a folder. 3. The wizard will then guide you through the download process. Note: You can also browse the files manually by clicking My Computer. Event Playback 1. In the setting mode, press the button to select EVENT PLAYBACK and then press OK 2. Refer to user manual instructions on Playback of Video/Picture, Deleting Video/Picture, and Deleting Folder f guidance. Page 10
