Security At Firstrust Bank we are pleased to offer FirstConnect Corporate, our online banking services via the Internet. As part of the delivery of online services, we understand the sensitive nature of your financial records and the critical need for both Firstrust and you to remain diligently aware of and actively protect against ever-changing threats from cybercrime and fraud. To better protect yourself, please review the information below. Security At Your Computer Online fraud is increasing at a rapid pace. You should always take precautions to keep yourself and your company s technology resources secure. Some things you can do to minimize your risk to fraud are: Install and maintain up-to-date anti-spy and anti-virus software. Be careful what Internet sites you visit, some sites contain viruses and software that, once loaded on your PC, are capable of recording sites you visit and every keystroke you make on your PC. Some of the more popular social networking sites are common sources for such malicious software. Minimize the number of PCs you use to conduct financial transactions and limit it (or them) from other Internet-related activities. Ensure everyone accessing your network is using strong passwords and that both Customer and User Password are changed on a periodic basis (for example, every 90 days). Restrict the use of wireless connectivity, web-cams and instant messenger (IM). Educate other employees utilizing your company s network about SPAM and phishing schemes. Ensure your company is utilizing phishing and SPAM filtering software against your email. These activities alone are not enough to protect you. Constant vigilance and common sense are always required. While we continue to evaluate and implement improvements in Internet security technology, users of FirstConnect Corporate also have a responsibility for the security of their information and should always follow the recommendations below: Utilize the latest version of your web browser (for example, Internet Explorer). FirstConnect Corporate is best viewed and most secure when you use up to date browsers. Be sure others are not watching you enter information on the keyboard. Keep your computer free of viruses and other malware. Use virus protection software to routinely check for a virus on your computer. Never allow virus or other malware to remain on your computer while accessing FirstConnect Corporate. If possible, use a dedicated system or PC to conduct online banking transactions. Use anti-spyware software that performs an updated scan for spyware and removes it. Use web-site filtering tools, hard-drive encryption and unique Administrator passwords on each PC conducting financial transactions. Review and install Windows updates on a periodic basis. Make certain you are using application-based security functions such as dual factor approvals. On a periodic basis, conduct a review of Users that are set up in your application, the permissions and rights that have been given to each User and activity reporting. Based upon changes in employee responsibilities or employment status, delete or modify permissions for Users immediately. Comprehensive Guide

Security (continued) Utilize the Dual Authorization functionality currently available in FirstConnect Corporate. Dual authorization is a security feature which requires two Users at your company to set up and approve Funds Transfers (Wire Transfers and ACH) and creation of templates. Users performing dual control functions should not use the same computer. Safeguard any physical security devices, such as tokens, that are required to initiate wire transfers or ACH batches. Encrypt your keystrokes to help establish secure communications. Limit ACH debits to your accounts to those from approved originators. If you would like additional information on how to secure your information technology systems, please go to the F.B.I. cyber-investigation website at www.fbi.gov/cyberinvest/cyberhome.htm. Confidentiality Keep all account and login data confidential. Never share your passwords with anyone. Never include account sensitive data in unsecured email. Never include account numbers in nicknames. Passwords The most secure passwords utilize letters, numbers and special characters. Do not use initials, birth date or loved ones names in your password. FirstConnect Corporate requires you to change your password every 90 days to help ensure that information cannot be guessed or used by others. Additionally, FirstConnect Corporate heightens security by requiring both a Customer Password and a User Password. For enhanced security we recommend you periodically change both the Customer and User Password. Signing Off If you have to step away from your computer for even a few minutes, always be certain to SIGN OFF from your FirstConnect Corporate session. Once a session has ended, no further transactions can be processed until you log in again to FirstConnect Corporate. Remember: Never leave your computer unattended while logged in to FirstConnect Corporate. Always lock your PC when you step away by using <CRTL> + <ALT> + <DELETE>. Enable the automated screen lock function on your PC to lock your screen after no more than ten minutes and require a password to unlock. Others may approach your computer and gain access to your account information if you walk away without locking your PC. Exercise appropriate security precautions when establishing timeout criteria using the Administrator function. Timeout length affects all Users within a company. Note: Any software provided by an independent third party is subject to their licensing, terms of use and other conditions. Firstrust has no liability for your use or inability to use any such software or for any related damages or losses which may be incurred as a result thereof. FirstConnect Corporate Internet Banking

Token Set-Up Security built on reusable passwords has proven easy for hackers to beat. FirstConnect Corporate offers you authentication based on something you know (a four to eight-digit PIN) and something you have (the physical token) providing a much more reliable level of user authentication than reusable passwords. The first time you attempt an action which requires token authentication, this screen will appear. Enter the Tokencode from your token in the Passcode box and click Submit. The Tokencode changes at set intervals. You will be prompted to establish a PIN. The PIN will be used in conjunction with the Tokencode for future transactions. Enter a - 8 character (alpha/numeric) PIN. Verify the PIN, and click Submit. Comprehensive Guide

Token Set-Up (continued) You will then be prompted to enter your PIN plus the Tokencode to proceed to your requested transaction. Enter your Passcode and click Submit.* * YOUR PIN + the TOKENCODE = PASSCODE Note: Going forward, whenever you attempt a transaction which requires Token authentication, you will be prompted to enter your PIN/Tokencode combination as the PASSCODE.
