Software Package V5.2.0.5 For Samsung Communication Manager (SCM) Available Now! Samsung Telecommunication America is pleased to announce software package V5.2.0.5 for SCM. SCM V5.2.0.5 software package requires new ibg Gateway software as well as new Series phone software. NEW FEATURES in V5.2.0.5 1. System Activation Key SCM V5.2.x.x supports the new System Activation Key in place of the original 53 character license Key. This was developed for future use so the Samsung License Manager (SLM) server can automatically deliver an Activation Key to the SCM server. Below is the Sample Activation Key that comes with V5.2. It is active until a permanent Activation Key file is received from Samsung Customer Service and then uploaded by a certified technician. 800-876-4782 Page 1 of 14 https://partnerportal.samsung.com

The tables below describe what is new and what changed from the earlier three system licenses. New Licensed Feature Description 1 Samsung FMC for iphone WE VoIP Clients for iphone (ios) 2 Directory Service Number of user that can use Directory Service & Premium CID 4 User Group Expansion User Groups increase from 8 to 128 to support multi-tenant services. Licenses are required to be provided on the order at no charge. Changed Feature 1 Samsung FMC for Android Explanation Name change only WE VoIP Clients for Android phones 2 CSTA Link Replaces the two CSTA server and CSTA user count. Now only count the number of external servers using CSTA When ordering license, dealers must specify the SCM software version. V4.1 and below will receive an email with the 53 character license. Copy & Paste into the SCM License menu. V5.x and above will receive an Activation Key file that gets imported into the SCM Activation Key menu. Existing three licenses verses new Activation Key file. You can upgrade to V5.2 Patch 1 and continue using the existing three licenses, but it is not possible to use new features listed in the Activation Key. To use new features list in the Activation Key the current three licenses must be upgraded to an Activation Key. Note: When accessing the SCM system licenses provided are applicable to specific countries and are not supported at this time in US/Canada deployments. Currently not supported in US/Canada License Explanation 1 Wi-Fi Agent Number of Wi-Fi Agents Not Available for North America 2 Embedded Wall Board Number of wall boards on PCs Not Available for North America 3 Communicator Desk Phone Not Available for i-series Phones in North America 800-876-4782 Page 2 of 14 https://partnerportal.samsung.com

2. User Group Expansion License With the new System Activation Key the number of User Groups can be expanded from 4 to 128. [CONFIGURATION > User Group > Change User Group > Information > change Free License from No to Yes. System can now support 128 User Groups 3. Common Trunk / Common Gateway A common trunk/route is a route several user groups can access. In a multi-tenant environment it can be necessary to share a route for either ISP (SIP Provider) or Gateway (PRI circuits) among multiple User Groups (tenants). All user Groups can dial a common trunk access code such as (9). When the common route uses PRI circuits in the SCM gateway, the gateway is configured as a Common Gateway with a Common Route. A Common Gateway cannot support FXO, FXS or Survivability feature. 4. Common Application This feature provides a common interface for an external application to be shared by multiple User Groups. Examples of common applications are; 3 rd Party UMS, 3 rd Party IVR and Conference Server. 5. Inter User Group Routing This feature uses Inter-User Group routing table of common prefixes to convert an external 10 digit PSTN call to an intercom call when dialing a telephone number that belongs to another User Group in the SCM. This reduces trunk usage. 6. Conference Member Eject Conference Owner or user that setup a conference can delete other users that are in the conference. Put the Conference on Hold then dial the Conference Member Eject Feature Code + extension number of the user you want to delete. A feature code must be assigned. 7. Premium CID Service SCM has an embedded Directory Server that provides Premium CID Service [Caller Identification). Instead of the phones displaying just Name & Number when a call is ringing, Premium CID Service will provide the following information about other users in the company. i3105 i5210s i5220s i5230 i5243 i5343 WE VoIP Android WE VoIP iphone Name Department Position Company Photo E-mail Off. Ph. Num. Fax Number 800-876-4782 Page 3 of 14 https://partnerportal.samsung.com

The -i5343 phone can only display the photo + five of these items. System Configuration determines what 5 items are displayed To use Premium CID, Directory Service License is necessary and each user has to set Premium CID to Enable. You can check the Directory Service License in the [CONFIGURATION > Miscellaneous > Activation Key] menu, which is named Directory Service. If the SCM Administrator Enables more users for Premium CID than the Directory Service License count then Premium CID and Directory Service will not work for anybody. 8. Photo File Management Single Photo File Upload function has been added to SCM Administrator >User Profile menu and to SCM Personal Assistant (PWP) application. User Photo can not to exceed 400 KB (approximately 400 x 300 pixels). This photo will show in Premium CID delivered to WE VoIP and -i5343 users. Batch Photo File Upload is available to support LDAP Data Import function. 9. WE VoIP Options a. WE VoIP for iphone WE VoIP client V2.0.2 is officially supported for the iphone5/5c/5s or later model and the OS should be ios7 or later. See separate WE VoIP for ios documentation for more details b. Push Service for WE VoIP on ios. (iphone) WE VoIP extensions ios can receive push message for incoming call by APNS (Apple Push Notification Service). WE VoIP (ios) can send a register message to SCM when WE VoIP (ios) wakes up. [CONFIGURATION > User Group > Change User Group > Timers >Push Reg-Request Interval (min)] => ios only. [CONFIGURATION > User Group > Change User Group > Options> Check ios Access Network] => ios only. Note: WE VoIP for ios can only operate in the internal Wi- Fi network. It is not supported to operate In Public Wi-Fi or mvoip zone. c. Outside Work Restriction Policy (Samsung APC is required to use this feature) When WE VoIP users move to external network (Public Wi-Fi or mvoip) from internal Wi-Fi network, the Outside Work Restriction Policy can be applied during Outside Work Duration. [CONFIGURATION > User > Single Phone User/Multi-Phone User> Service Tab >Outside Work Duration (hour)] [CONFIGURATION > Service > Feature Service > Class of Service> Outside Work Restriction Policy] 800-876-4782 Page 4 of 14 https://partnerportal.samsung.com

d. Added Register Authorization Validation Interval e. Voice Quality Report Configuration Menu is added. Select whether to report the Mobile Phone s Voice Quality Information to System Refer to Voice Quality Report Option in [Configuration > Wireless Enterprise > Mobile Phone Profile] menu. 10. LDAP support A Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server service provides the ability for external devices linked with Samsung Communication Manager (SCM) to receive user information from SCM. The external devices can query user information registered in SCM such as: Extension Number, Department, Position, etc. The LDAP server connects to the internal database of SCM and provides data to LDAP client. LDAP server provides the following data: Department List Position List User Group Lit User Information LDAP Manager Information added search service of employee information by LDAP protocol for WE VoIP extensions. Parent Department display Option in Directory Service on Phone is Added Search Parent in Directory Service Option in [CONFIGURATION > User Group> Department] Menu. Top Department in Directory Service Option in [CONFIGURATION > User >User Profile] Menu 11. Mobile Phone Black List Mobile phones can be added to the Mobile Phone Black List for security and control. Phones in this list cannot register as WE VoIP clients and receive a warning message when they try. 12. Multiple Registrations to one SIP Account Multiple registrations to one ISP with one IP address are supported. The incoming route is determined by matching a called number to [User Number Range]. To express a range of called number 'digits', '[-]' and 'X' can be used. 13. Improved Password Security SCM Administrator Password When system administrator logs in, user must change the default password. Password should be more than 10 characters in case of three combination of letters, numbers or special characters. And it should be more than 8 characters in case of two combination of letters, numbers or special characters. If user input wrong password as many as [Password Lock Count], user will not able to log-in during [Password Lock Time]. And in that case, the PASSWORD_ERROR history will be retained in [Access Permission > History > Login History]. 800-876-4782 Page 5 of 14 https://partnerportal.samsung.com

Deleted Default Password of Subscribers The default value of [Forced Password Change] option was changed to Yes. In the Configuration Wizard the Profile Password, Application Password, Authentication Password and PIN Number of subscribers are not inputted automatically. You must input subscriber password in Single Phone User, Multi-Phone User and Multi-Extension Phone menu. This improves system security. Mailbox Password. Forces a subscriber to change default mailbox password. When many subscribers do not change the default password or use simple combinations the SCM system is vulnerable to illegal use, so the SCM doesn t allow users to use their mailbox before changing the password. The Profile Password and Authentication Password in User menus will be encrypted using AES, Base64 Encoding. In PWP, the login error message was changed for security reasons. The ID is invalid / Password is wrong message was changed to Please retry 14. International Call information and control By using an international call prefix, operator can receive international call attempt counts. In addition the operator can block call forward or transfer feature to help prevent toll fraud. Refer to [Configuration > User Group > Change User Group > International call prefix] menu. Refer to International Call Check Count and International Call Check Duration (minute) in [Configuration >Miscellaneous> System options] menu. International Call Forward / Call Transfer block service is added. 15. External Database Backup In addition to the automatic database backup to the SCM server, the database can also be sent to an external FTP server to save a remote copy of the database. Refer to [MANAGEMENT > Database > Database Backup]. 16. Leaving Office Service This provides an after work day class of service for subscribers, commonly referred to as night class of service. [CONFIGURATION > Service > Feature Service > Class of Service] 17. Ring Plan Override Button The Ring Plan Override - Set and Ring Plan Override - Cancel buttons were added to CONFIGURATION > Phone Key Programming. These buttons have the same function as the feature codes but the LEDs will light to indicate the Ring Plan Override function is activated. Press the Ring Plan Override- Cancel button to return the system to the scheduled ring plan 800-876-4782 Page 6 of 14 https://partnerportal.samsung.com
