Specifications BACnet Controller for General-purpose Building Applications General Model WJ-1101 is the BACnet controller to be used for a wide range of building applications such as air-conditioning and plumbing. Model WJ-1101 provides excellent controls suitable for your building with scalable inputs and outputs (I/Os) and configurable control applications. s () and control applications can be added to Model WJ-1101 for a change in operation or for a retrofit, offering high extensibility. Features Open protocols for high connectivity: Model WJ-1101 supports BACnet/IP. Its RS-485 communication allows to connect BACnet MS/TP, Modbus ASCII, and Modbus RTU devices. Modifiable I/O combinations: Model WJ-1101 has 24 I/Os including universal inputs (UIs) for inputs of current, voltage, resistance (Pt100 Ω/Pt1000 Ω), and open collector. Besides these I/Os, Model WJ-1101 accepts up to 20 I/O modules () in any combination through the Ethernet connection. s away from Model WJ-1101: Ethernet connection enables to leave distance between s and Model WJ-1101. s mounted near field equipment thus accessible to Model WJ-1101. Visible I/O status: The LEDs of Model WJ-1101 for digital inputs (DIs), digital outputs (DOs), and UIs show the status of the feedback input from field equipment and the on/off output to field equipment. Controls configured for your instrumentation: To fulfill the instrumentation requirements of your building, Model WJ-1101 provides temperature and humidity controls and energy-saving operations through CO2 control, outdoor-air cooling control, etc. Control applications added and modified during operation: Model WJ-1101 allows the following even while it is in operation. - Adding another control application to Model WJ-1101. - Modifying control applications in Model WJ-1101. You can therefore add a new control application and modify an existing control application without interrupting equipment operation. Manual override: The manual override function enables you to manually change the input and output data. This helps you to take temporary action against a failure. Autonomous distributed control: To reduce the risks of failures, Model WJ-1101 independently operates even when a part of the building management system (BMS) fails. 1

This connection between Model WJ-1101 and the I/O modules is called "local I/O network." The maximum wiring length between adjacent devices on the local I/O network must be 100 m. *3 The connection between Model WJ-1101 and s through the Ethernet of the supervisory and primary device networks is called "remote I/O network." Each on the remote I/O network requires a switching hub. Model WJ-1101 communicates with the s using our proprietary protocol. *4 Model WJ-1101 allows a maximum of 20 s to connect on the local I/O network and on the remote I/O network. *5 Model WJ-1101 as a primary device supports BACnet MS/TP and Modbus over RS-485 for communicating with the secondary devices. The maximum wiring length of each line of the secondary device network must be 1,200 m. BACnet MS/TP or Modbus communication is selectable through the S/W settings. *6 Model WJ-1101 allows a maximum of 50 MS/TP devices to connect on a single BACnet MS/TP line of the secondary device network. These 50 devices can include a maximum of 20 third-party devices. For connecting third-party devices only, Model WJ-1101 allows a maximum of 31 MS/TP devices to connect on a single BACnet MS/TP line of the secondary device network. *7 Model WJ-1101 allows a maximum of 31 Modbus devices to connect on a single Modbus line of the secondary device network.
