Step 1: Login/Account Creation When you first access Online Registration, you will be brought to the login screen. You will first need to create an account to register players with Olds Minor Hockey Association. This account is a "family" account; you only need ONE account to register as many family members as you wish in any association. You only need to do this once. Your account can be used for any association across Canada in any season by accessing the site with each association s unique URL. To create an account: 1. Click on the "CLICK HERE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT" link. 2. You will then be asked to choose your language. 3. The next step is to read the provided information and to agree. 3
4. Next, you will need to provide some account information. This includes name, address, and contact information. This is the personal information of the account-holder. This is not a participant registration screen. Once the account is created, you will be brought to the main home page where you can access account options and register participants. 4
Step 2: Member Registration 1. To register a participant (member), you will click on the "Register a participant" button. You will be brought to the "Participant Selection" screen which is the first step of six. Here you can either: Register someone you've registered previously with your account by clicking on "Register" to the right of the name of the person you would like to register. This will be listed under "Previous Registrations". If the "Previous Registrations" section does not appear, then you have not registered anyone in the past with this user account. Or Register a new person under the "Register a New Participant" section by entering in the member's required information and then clicking on "Register". A "new" participant, in this case, does not necessarily mean a brand new member that has never been involved in hockey. It solely refers to you not having registered them previously with this user account. 5
2. Next you will choose the registration type. Here you will select Participants. 3. Step 3 is to select the division in which the participant will be registered. Atom Bantam Midget Novice Peewee Tyke 4. Next step is to select the registration Package for that particular participant. For example, the options for Peewee players are: Peewee Female Participation Opt Out (A fee of $350 will be charged and families will not be required to work any concession hours.) Peewee Participation Opt Out (as above) Peewee AA Participation Opt Out (as above) Peewee Female Participation Bond (No initial fee will be charged and families will be required to work 18 hours in the concession. If these hours are not completed by required deadlines, a total of $500 will be charged to initial form of payment.) Peewee Participation Bond (as above) Peewee AA Participation Bond (as above) 6
5. On the next screen you will be prompted to enter the participant's personal information. The following information will be required to continue: Physical Address Parent/Guardian Address Contact Information Emergency Contact Information Birth Certificate Number Health Care Number Read the Positive Participation Policy and Liability Disclaimers and check off the I agree checkbox if you agree with the Disclaimers. At the bottom of the screen, the fees configured for the selected package will appear accordingly. Any optional fees (such as conditioning camp) can be selected if you wish to include them. 6. The last step before checkout is to review all of the information that was entered. 7
If you are registering more than one player you can click on "Add to Cart" to add that registration to your shopping cart. You can then choose to register more participants. If you are finished registering players please click on Checkout. Items in the shopping cart can be changed or removed by clicking on the edit, delete or view buttons as indicated in the image below. Please note: that (due to the way the system works) if you choose any Participation Fee Opt Out packages, the participation fee will be added per participant (instead of per family) but then adjusted for, before the final checkout process. Participants are not registered until you go through the checkout process successfully. Registrations in a shopping cart will remain there until checkout even if you log out and come back later. 8
Step 3: Checkout 1. Once you have added all the participants you would like to register in your cart, you will click the checkout button to process your payment. At this time, any fee adjustments for the Participation Fee Opt out will be made. 2. You will then be brought to payment screen where you will need to select Credit Card to proceed. 3. On the next screen, you will then choose the Payment Schedule for each participant. 9
4. After clicking next, you will be brought to the Online Payment Processing Screen. Here you will enter your payment information. 5. Once you ve successfully completed the payment process, the registration will be complete. You will see a message stating your transaction was successful and thanking you for your registration. 10
