Button Instructions IP display : Display the IP address of display screen mode : TXT text display mode, please see the TXT mode of menu structure flow chart in the following text. color ; Red, green, yellow, variegation 1, variegation 2, and custom colors. User can adjust display color through these options when display is two-color display. information : Continuously pressing Information button will display in turn the total number of files, GIF pictures quantity, BMP pictures quantity, and display date, luminosity percent, thermometer, and hygrometer, etc. (Note: if user want to display luminosity percent, thermometer, and hygrometer have to first install the corresponding devices.) speed +/- and brightness +/- : Multilevel speed and brightness adjustment. volume +/- : User can increase or decrease volume when display supports speech function. T9/A/a/0 : Input method switch button, can in turn switch six kinds of input methods: T9 strokes of Chinese character, pinyin, ABC input, English input, numbers, symbols. ESC : Exit button. Return to the previous menu until display screen exits menu operation interface. Enter : 1. Press this button to access the first layer menu. The first menu has display adjustment, time setup, language select, circulation mode, system setup, GSM setup, and editor. About the structure of each menu, please refer to menu structure flow chart in the following text. 2. After entering the first layer menu, user can choose corresponding menu options through up button or down button, and then press Enter to access the second layer menu. 3. Using the same operation enters the third layer menu. Up/Down : Using Up and Down switches each layer of menu options and increases or decreases the number values of each menu. Up button has space function and Down button has the function clearing one by one while editing display contents. to left/to right : Used to choose information while editing display information, please see operation instruction of input method in the following text. Display model select: Operation procedure: first DisSetup.exe produce display setup file (HSD format), and then using DispTool.exe display control tool sends display setup file to LED display. This function decides the time interval between display contents. primary color : Primary color adjustment. One-color/two-color. Attention: there is no Color Setup menu when users select One-color. Font size :16 16,24 24,and 32 32. According to the display s dimension user can select the corresponding font size. color setup :Red, green, yellow, variegation 1, variegation 2, and custom colors. User can adjust display color through these options when display is two-color. (The first layer) (The second layer) Time setup hour adjustment :From 01 to 24, 01 means that the time is 1 o clock at present. Has 24-hour and 12-hour time system. If time mode is 12-hour time system, pressing To right or To left can switch AM (morning) and PM (evening) in turn. 24-hour time system and 12-hour time system can switch mutually. minute adjustment :From 00 to 59, 01 means that the minute is one minute at present, and the rest may be deduced by analogy. second adjustment :From 00 to 59, 01 means that the second is one second at present, and the rest may be deduced by analogy. year adjustment :From 00 to 59, 06 means that the year is 2006 at present, and the rest may be deduced by analogy. month adjustment :From 00 to 12, 01 means that the month is the first month of a year at present, and the rest may be deduced by analogy. day adjustment :From 00 to 31, 01 means that the date is the 1st, and the rest may be deduced by analogy. week adjustment :The adjustable range is from Monday to Sunday. time format :12-hour time system and 24-hour time system can be chosen. error :-9~+9 display clock :On/off. clock mode :From 01 to 08, have eight kinds of modes in all. (The first layer) GSM setup (The second layer) receiving setup :Set number effective: display screen only can receive messages sent by these mobile telephones that have been set. All effective: display screen can receive messages sent by any mobile telephones. number list :Display number lists that have been set. allow receiving :User can directly input mobile telephone numbers, and can input eight mobile telephone numbers at most. (The first layer) Language select (The second layer) menu font :SC (Simplified Chinese character), TC (traditional Chinese character). Note: English user can skip over this option. TXT ISN (internal code) :SC, TC, English, Arabic, Greek and so on Note: please select the corresponding language that needs to be displayed. (The first layer) (The second layer) System setup IP setup :The adjustable range is 01 to 255. row setup :The adjustable range is 01 to 32. column setup :The adjustable range is 01 to 32. delete advertisement :Delete all display contents that have been input. memory setup :Increase: increase an advertisement on the basis of old advertisements. Replace: cancel completely old advertisements in the display screen and replace it with the new advertisement. photometer :On/off. thermometer :On/off. ±0.4 when 25. hygrometer :On/off. ±3.0%RH. Auto :Automatic luminosity control. AUTO: off/on. Attention: 1. Hygrometer, thermometer, and photometer only support Left TXT display mode, and adopting another TXT display mode can t display hygrometer, thermometer, and photometer. 2. Displays can automatically identify photometer, thermometer, and hygrometer and display the corresponding menu, if displays install photometer, thermometer, and hygrometer If displays don t install photometer, thermometer, and hygrometer, displays don t display the corresponding photometer menu, thermometer menu, and hygrometer menu. Function Adjustment Example Time adjustment: 1. First, press Enter to access first layer menu; and then using Up or Down switches to the time setup ; finally press Enter to access time adjustment. 2. Time setup has eleven options in all; they are respectively hour adjustment, clock mode, display clock, error, minute adjustment, second adjustment, year adjustment, month adjustment, day adjustment, week adjustment, and time format. Using Up or Down button switches to the corresponding option that user needs, and then press Enter to access adjustment. 3. For example, user needs to adjust hour. After entering time setup, using Up or Down button switches to the hour adjustment, and then press Enter to access hour adjustment. After entering, display screen may display two digits (24-hour time system) or four characters (12-hour time system), for instance, 08PM or 08AM. Using To left or To right button can increase or decrease numerical value, then exit automatically. 4. For example, user needs to adjust minute. After entering time setup, using Up or Down button switches to the minute adjustment, and then press Enter to access minute adjustment. After entering, using Up or Down button adjusts numerical value, and then exit automatically. 5. If user adopts above-mentioned methods of operation to adjust each option of time setup, updating the date and time of display screen can be realized. The adjustments of other functions are the same as this. Operation Instruction of Input Method ⑴ English input: English small letter input Operation methods: 1) Press Enter button to access the first layer menu; and then using Up or Down button switches menu options to Editor ; last press Enter button to access editor. 2) Using Switch button switches to English input, and press Enter button to start editing. 3) Directly input English letters.(note: using Up button can realize space function and Down button has backspace function while editing English information.) 4) After finishing editing, please press Enter button to save file. After saving file, display screen will display Save Ok, then press Exit button. (For saving file, see under the Editing Instruction.) ⑵ ABC input: English capital letter input. The operation method is the same as English input. ⑶ 123 input: Arabic numerals input. The operation method is the same as English input. ⑷ Pinyin: Chinese phonetic transcription, there is no need for English users to pay attention to it. ⑸ Stroke input: Chinese character input. there is no need for English users to pay attention to it. ⑹ Symbol input: 7 groups of symbols in all from A to G. after entering Editor, using Switch button switches to Symbol input, then press Enter. Please refer to the following symbol table and select a group of symbol. Using To Left or To Right chooses symbols that users need, then press Enter button to confirm. ⑺ Application example:for example, user needs to edit China 0086, user can first use the operation method of ABC input to input C ; then using Switch button switches to English input and input hina ; last using the operation method of 123 input inputs 0086. The rest may be deduced by analogy. ⑻ Editing instruction: a. Up button has space function, and Down button has the function clearing one by one For example, pressing Up button can directly forward space when user edits HSAV_, namely HSAV _. Also, user can choose contents through To left and To right, and then space, for example, choose A and space, will display HS_AV. If user needs to delete display information, can directly press Down to delete information in turn, or first choose display information that need to be deleted through To left and To right, and then delete it. b. After finishing editing, press Enter button to confirm editing information, at this time display screen will display S/N/E. Choosing S can save current editing information, choosing N doesn t save current editing information, and choosing E can continue to edit information. c. Have 7 groups of symbol. After entering the first layer menu, user can choose corresponding menu options through up button or down button, and then press Enter to access the second layer menu. 3. Keyboard Editing Instruction ⑴ English input: English input Operation methods: 1) Press Menu button to access the first menu; and then using Up or Down arrow switches menu options to Editor ; last press Enter button to access editor interface. 2) Using switch button (Shift + Ctrl) switches to English input, and press Enter button to start editing. 3) Directly input English letters.(note: using Up arrow and space key can realize space function while editing English information.) 4) After finishing editing, please press Enter button to save file. After saving file, display screen will display Save Ok, then press Exit button. (For saving file, see under the editing note) Note: selecting Caps Lock button on the keyboard can directly switch to capital letter input, and user can directly input punctuations on the keyboard. ⑵ Number input: user can directly input numbers on the keyboard.. After entering Editor, using switch button (Shift + Ctrl) switches to Symbol input, then press Enter button. Please refer to the above symbol table and select a group of symbol. Using To Left or To Right button chooses symbols that users need, then press space button to confirm information. Using Up or Down button can switch symbol menu options. Note: user can directly input symbols on the keyboard while editing display information. ⑹ Application example:for example, user needs to edit China 0086, user can first use the operation method of English input to input China, then using number key on the keyboard directly input 0086. The rest may be deduced by analogy. ⑺ Editing note: a. Up button has space function, and Down button has the function clearing one by one For example, pressing Up button can directly forward space when user edits HSAV_, namely HSAV _. Also, user can choose contents through To left and To right, and then space, for example, choose A and space, will display HS_AV. If user needs to delete display information, can directly press Down to delete information in turn, or first choose display information that need to be deleted through To left and To right, and then delete it. b. After finishing editing, press Enter button to confirm editing information, at this time display screen will display S/N/E. Choosing S can save current editing information, choosing N doesn t save current editing information, and choosing E can continue to edit information. c.
