Searchlight Laser Illumination System Aventura's Searchlight System illuminates targets from miles away even in true zero-lux conditions, and is invisible to the naked eye. See targets at 15km in complete darkness. Motorized focus provides complete control over beam intensity and light-scatter. Works in the infrared spectrum, so the beam is invisible without special equipment. Thermal Camera Features 17µm microbolometer provides long-range thermal imaging in complete darkness, through smoke and fog. Thermal imager requires no active cooling, providing superior reliability and significant cost savings over equivalent cooled systems. LWIR band provides better detection at range through atmospheric turbulence when compared to MWIR. Advantages of Uncooled Thermal Aventura thermal systems use uncooled thermal technology because of the superior reliability and price/performance.
