The SOM335x has integrated the TI AM335x processor, up to 2G DDR3, 4Gbit NAND Flash and 3D graphics accelerator on board and can be served as the core of your embedded system.som335x offers rich peripheral resources like USB2.0 HOST,USB2.0 OTG,CAN bus,six UART serial ports,thus makes it ideal for speeding up your development. 5 Update History Item SOM335x-A3 SOM335x-C1 Software Bootloader C1 version : RAM is change to more than 512MByte,so need to Software Package Kernel Filesystem update u-boot.img MLO. C1 version : Update kernel uimage. C1 version : Compatible.Do not need to update. Hardware emmc(4) Use MMC0 pin on AM335x Up to 2Gbyte(5) Use MMC1 pin on AM335x Up to 64Gbyte RAM 1x 16bit, Up to 512MByte 2x 8bit, Up to 1GByte GPMC(6) Not affected AD and two chip select signal are not available Structure Size(mm) 50.8 * 71.12 50.8 * 71.12 (4) The differences only appear in emmc version.nand FLASH version is not affected. (5) Because of the limit of mmc0 on TI AM335x,the capacity of emmc need to be less than 4GByte.Please check on the AM335x technical manual.
