Email cmmunicatin. We are using email as the nly means f sending Exam Entry Frms and the Exam Cnfirmatin Letters t students. Please ensure that yu have a valid and active email address. All currently registered students shuld use their DAMELIN.me email address. 2. Payment f exam fees. Yur Exam Entry Frm shuld accmpany yur prf f payment fr the exam fees t ensure that yu will be registered t write the exams. If yu have a credit balance with the Cllege, yur fees may be ffset against the credit balance. The cut-ff date t register fr the examinatins is the 31 st f March 2011. 3. Exam Results. Yur exam results fr the May/June 2011 sessin will be released n the 16 th f August 2011. These results will be SMSed t students. Therefre, please ensure that the Cllege has yur latest cell phne number. Yur Exam Entry Frm shws yu the subjects that yu are eligible t write in the May/June exam sessin. Please fllw the easy steps n the Exam Entry Frm t register fr the exams yu want t write. EXAM AREAS Yu have t write at ne f the exam centres prvided by the Cllege. On yur Exam Entry Frm we have indicated an exam area clse t yur residential address. If yu wuld like t change t anther area, please cmplete the Preferred Exam Area bx n the Exam Entry Frm. All DAMELIN exam areas are listed in Annexure A. On the day f yur examinatins, please d nt attend the exams at anther venue. If the exam area fr any f yur papers shws UNSUPPORTED r UNKNOWN, yu have t select an exam area frm the list in Annexure A. Please keep in mind that the exam venue must be able t accmmdate the exam type yu wish t write. Venues are subject t change r cancellatin. The Cllege reserves the right t re-rute students, shuld we encunter venue prblems. The venue at which yu will be writing will be cnfirmed in the cnfirmatin letter that will be issued t yu. Please nte that nt all areas accmmdate cmputer, labratry and practical exams. We will try t find a venue as clse as pssible t yur hme address, but it is nt always pssible t accmmdate all students. Therefre, yu may be required t travel t anther twn clse t yu. EXAM FEES An exam fee f R430 per subject is payable n registratin. Please submit yur prf f payment with yur Exam Entry Frm. If yu d nt supply us with prf f payment by the exam registratin end date, yu will nt be registered t write the exams. Please nte that we n lnger ffer exam fees n credit.
PRIVATE INVIGILATION If yu want t make use f private invigilatin, please cmplete the Private Invigilatin Frm btainable frm the Cllege. Yu can dwnlad the frm at http://www.dcc.edu.za. Click n the Dwnlads menu. Yu have t return this frm befre the exam registratin end date. Late applicatins will nt be cnsidered. Yu will nly be granted the right t private invigilatin if yu qualify. Yu shuld carefully read the rules and prcedures fr private invigilatin n yur Private Invigilatin Frm. Yur Exam Cnfirmatin Letter will be emailed t yu n the 2 nd f May 2011. Please cntact the Cllege if yu have nt received yur Exam Cnfirmatin Letter abut 2 weeks befre the exam sessin. Please remember that yu have t take yur Exam Cnfirmatin Letter with yu t each f the exams that yu will write. PLEASE NOTE: Yur Exam Cnfirmatin Letter will be emailed t yu. The Cllege has had majr issues in previus exam sessins with students Exam Cnfirmatin Letters getting lst in the mail, which meant that sme students never received cnfirmatin f their registratin. Therefre, all Exam Cnfirmatin Letters will be sent via email nly. Therefre, please ensure that yu prvide a valid and active email address n yur Exam Entry Frm. EXAM CLASHES If yu find that there is a timetable clash between tw r mre f yur subjects in a curse, we will undertake t help yu write all subjects. Hwever, if yu are studying mre than ne curse and yu find that sme subjects clash, yu will have t decide which subject(s) t write in this exam sessin. CANCELLATIONS If yu want t cancel any f the exams fr which yu are registered, yu have t d s in writing n later than 14 days after the exam registratin clsing date, r the exam fee will be frfeited.
