Overview The Streetscape User Guide 1.756501.100 The enables you to track and monitor securities by grouping them into lists or portfolios based on one or more common characteristics. You can create an unlimited number of lists and portfolios include up to 50 symbols per list, and set up alerts to display when certain conditions occur. Watch Lists vs. Portfolios A watch list is a group of up to 50 symbols that you group together according to whatever criteria you specify. For example, you may want to create one list of symbols from the automobile industry and another that contains symbols for your 20 favorite securities. A portfolio enables you to enter multiple share quantities and share prices for each holding in order to track real-time portfolio valuations To access the 1. Linking to Other Features within the Brokerage Center You can directly access various Brokerage Center features from the window. To link to other information for a symbol: 1. Select a symbol from the Symbol column. 2. From the Link menu, select the feature with which you want to link the symbol. You can also add one or more buttons to the top of the window that enable you to link to other features. Using Watch Lists You can monitor a group of up to 50 symbols by using the Watch List feature. Creating a Watch List To create a watch list: 1. From the File menu, select New. 2. For each security you want to add to the watch list, either enter the market symbol in the blank cell OR click on the Symbol Lookup button and look up the symbol Reference: For information on looking up a symbol, refer to the Site Basics section of this user guide. Note: Press the Tab key to add another row. 3. When you have finished adding symbols to the watch list: From the File menu, select Save As enter the name of that you would like to use for the list in the blank cell, and click the OK button. Result: The new watch list is added to the Watch List drop-down. Opening a Watch List To open an existing watch list Select the list from the Watch List drop down. March 2001 3 of 9

Customizing the Window You can customize your window by changing the way data is displayed, which includes selecting which columns of data display arranging columns in a particular order, and changing the width of individual columns, and adding buttons that enable you to link directly to other Brokerage Center features. Changing Data Columns To change data columns: 1. From the Options menu, select Set Columns. Note: Columns that currently display in the Dynamic Watch list window appear in the left list box. Columns that are available but do not currently display appear in the right list box. 2. Use the information in the table below to determine the appropriate action to take. IF YOU WANT TO THEN add a column of data from the left list box, select the name of the column you want to add, and click the Add button. remove a column of data from the right list box, select the name of the column you want to remove, and click the Remove button. rearrange the order of data columns from the right list box, select the name of the column you want to move, and click either Up (to move the column up in the list), or Down (to move the column down in the list). 4 of 9 March 2001

To save your changes, click the Save button. Sizing Columns To size a column: 1. From the Dynamic Watch list window, click on a column heading s right border. 2. When the mouse pointer icon changes to a double arrow ( ): click the left mouse button, and drag the column to the appropriate width. Sorting Columns To sort a column Click on the heading of the column whose contents you want to sort. Note: When you initially click on a heading, the contents sort in ascending order (e.g., 1 9). When you click on the heading again, the contents sort in descending order (e.g., 9 1) Adding Feature Link Buttons In addition to the Symbol Lookup button, which permanently displays at the top of the Dynamic Watch list window, you can add additional buttons that enable you to link to frequently-used features within StreeScape. Note: Feature buttons are available for all items on the Links menu To add or remove a feature button 1. From anywhere within the Watch List Selection header, click the right mouse button to display the Button pop-up menu. March 2001 5 of 9

2. Use the information in the table below to determine the appropriate next step. Using the Floating News Bar You can continue to monitor news and alerts when the Dynamic Watch list window is not active, even while working in another application (such as Excel), by removing the News bar from the Dynamic Watch List window so that it floats independently. To use the floating news bar Click on the left border of the news bar, and drag it to the preferred location on your computer s desktop. The news bar will appear minimized at the bottom of your computer s desktop. You can access it at any time from within another Streetscape window or even from a different application. To return the news bar to the window Click on the left border of the open news bar, and drag it to its original location on the window. March 2001 7 of 9

Using Alerts From the Dynamic Watch list window, you can set up alerts for individual security symbols, which notify you when a security s market price equals, rises above, or falls below the price you enter. You can also view a history of all alerts you have received during the current session. Adding Alerts To add an alert 1. Click on the symbol in the Symbol column for which you want to add the alert. 2. From the Options menu, select Set Alerts. Result: The Set Alerts dialog box for the symbol displays. 3. Enter one or more of the alert settings described in the table below. Result: When activated, alerts display in pop-up windows with applicable fields in red, indicating that the alert has been triggered. Viewing Alert History To view alert history 1. From the Options menu, select Alert History. Result: Alerts display in ascending order, by time received. 2. To show alerts that have occurred since you opened the Alerts History window, click the Update button. You can only view an alert history for your current session. When you log out of Streetscape, the alert history is removed. March 2001 9 of 9
