LexisNexis Early Data Analyzer Release Notes 5 Enhancements LexisNexis Early Data Analyzer Enhancements - LexisNexis Early Data Analyzer The following enhancements are added to LexisNexis Early Data Analyzer Processing: Chilkat LexisNexis Early Data Analyzer has been updated to Chilkat version 9.5.0.56. Direct export The DocScore and PredictValue predictive coding fields are now exported as part of the direct export process. These fields are created when a predictive coding review is created in Lexis DiscoveryIQ. They are initially populated in DiscoveryIQ after a predictive coding review has been through document scoring. If multiple predictive coding reviews have been created, multiple DocScore and PredictValue fields may be available. Each field is presented in the following format for easy identification: <PC review name>_docscore or <PC review name>_predictvalue. If the export includes any files you have annotated and/or redacted in DiscoveryIQ, the LAW PreDiscovery Direct Export generates TIFF images for those files. When a TIFF is generated for a marked up file, the annotations and/or redactions are burned into the image. Content that has been redacted must go through the OCR process in LAW PreDiscovery. The following fields are now populated by the export: Footer, HasAnnotations, HasPageLimit, HasRedaction, ImageExt, OcrStatus, PrintJobName, TiffStatus, Volume. dtsearch dtsearch has been updated from version 7.79 to version 7.83. Native export For customers with integrations with Brainspace, you can now use the native export feature to export Brainspace DiscoveryIDs, as well as exporting Tags as individual fields in EDRM or XML load files. To choose documents with specific tags to export, select.general\tags in the Categories column and choose the tag(s) to export. To include Brainspace DiscoveryIDs in the native export, select the.general\review category and then select Brainspace DiscoveryIDs from the Available Fields list.
6 Release Notes Brainspace DiscoveryIDs are available for export after the case has been exported to Brainspace, overlaid, and indexed by your administrator. To include DocScore and PredictValue fields in the export, select the PC review category and then select the DocScore and PredictValue fields to export. DocScore and PredictValue fields are initially populated in Lexis DiscoveryIQ after a predictive coding review has been through document scoring. If multiple predictive coding reviews have been scored, multiple DocScore and PredictValue fields may be available. When a PowerPoint document with embedded files was extracted, text from the embedded files was being added to the content of the PowerPoint file. We have addressed an issue that caused Early Data Analyzer to incorrectly identify PowerPoint (.pptx) and Word (.docx) documents as archive files during extraction. This issue caused Early Data Analyzer to extract the internals of the file as documents and
7 prevented the native file from being exported. It also caused inaccuracies in the total document and container counts. Importing When you import PDFs with compound attachments, all attachments are now extracted. We have addressed an issue that was preventing the import of Lotus Notes 9 NSF files. The created date for attached PowerPoint files was defaulting to the current date and time when there was no value present in the document. To address this issue, we added checks to validate that the created, modified, and printed times are not the same the current date and time. PST files with attached MSG files no longer cause a critical analysis failure. Performance Optimization has improved the loading time for large cases. 8 Release Notes documents. Direct Export Documents annotated and/or redacted in Lexis DiscoveryIQ are automatically converted to TIFF images upon export to Early Data Analyzer. When these TIFF files are exported to LAW using the direct export process, the color properties are defaulting to High color and LZW compression. When a predictive coding review with a very long name is created in DiscoveryIQ, Early Data Analyzer is unable to perform a LAW Direct Export. Due to an issue with third-party software integrated with Early Data Analyzer, the following file types may not convert as expected to TIFF files during the direct export process..csv.dcx.dgn.dwf.dwg.dxf.eml.ical.pct.ras.tga.wmf Hashing Bug fixes and enhancements to email processing in both Early Data Analyzer 1.9 and 2.0 may result in changes in email hashing behavior. After upgrading, emails processed in a previous version may not always deduplicate in the same manner. Lotus Notes If you try to use EDA to open an email message from a Notes Storage Facility (NSF) file when Lotus notes is not open and running, a different email opens in Lotus Notes than the one you selected. However, after this occurs if you try to open the email again from EDA, once Lotus Notes is running, the correct email opens. OCR Running OCR on an NSF from multiple computers triggers OCR error: "Failed to extract embedded item for input to OCR engine". PST files Some PST files larger than 20GB may not process as expected in EDA. If this happens,
