1 Introduction This Configuration Guide addresses to Customers, who have implemented the Scenario as Consulting Solution based on SAP Solution Manager Release 7.1. With SAP Solution Manager Release 7.2, SP03, has become part of the SAP Standard. This guide describes the mandatory configuration steps, when upgrading to SAP Solution Manager Release 7.2, SP03. Introduction 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. All rights reserved. 5
2 Undo Modification for Function Module /TMWFLOW/CHECK_OBJECTS_LOCK_CS L In case you have implemented the Scenario as Consulting Solution based on SAP Solution Manager Release 7.1, it was necessary to create an Enhancement for the Function Module '/TMWFLOW/CHECK_OBJECTS_LOCK_CSL'. By activating this Enhancement Implementation, Transport Requests, which have been created locally (in the Managed Development Systems), are automatically registered to the appropriate Task List. In addition missing CSOL Lock entries are generated as well. In the area, which is reserved for Enhancements, you should therefore find an active Enhancement Implementation for Function Module '/TMWFLOW/CHECK_OBJECTS_LOCK_CSL', which calls the Function '/SALM/RSA_REGISTER_AND_ASSIGN': Please undo this Enhancement Implementation, as it is obsolete for SAP Solution Manager 7.2, SP03. 6 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. 3 Activate the new Retrofit Parameter 'Stand-Alone Retrofit Scenario Activation' As already explained the Scenario has become part of the SAP Standard with SAP Solution Manager Release 7.2, SP03. By activating the new Retrofit Parameter 'Stand-Alone Retrofit Scenario Activation' the registration of locally created Transport Requests to the appropriate Task List, as well as the generation of missing CSOL Lock Entries will now be automatically performed by the system. You can find the Definition of Retrofit Parameters in the SAP Reference IMG under the following IMG Path: Activate the new Retrofit Parameter 'Stand-Alone Retrofit Scenario Activation' 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. All rights reserved. 7
Please activate the Retrofit Parameter 'Stand-Alone Retrofit Scenario Activation': 8 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. All rights reserved. Activate the new Retrofit Parameter 'Stand-Alone Retrofit Scenario Activation'
4 Deactivate Customer own BadI Implementation for BAdI Definition 'CTS_EXPORT_FEEDBACK' Call Tr. SE18 and enter the BAdI Definition CTS_EXPORT_FEEDBACK'. As next let the system display the available Customer-own BAdI Implementations for BAdI Definition 'CTS_EXPORT_FEEDBACK': You should find an active BadI Implementation, which you might have named differently. Please deactivate this BAdI Implementation, as it is obsolete in SAP Solution Manager Release 7.2, SP03. Deactivate Customer own BadI Implementation for BAdI Definition 'CTS_EXPORT_FEEDBACK' 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. All rights reserved. 9
5 Activate BAdI Implementation 'RETRO_STANDALONE' (for BAdI Definition 'CTS_EXPORT_FEEDBACK') With SAP Solution Manager Release 7.2; SP03, the BAdI Implementation 'RETRO_STANDALONE' for BAdI Definition 'CTS_EXPORT_FEEDBACK' (in Status 'Inactive'), is shipped to Customers within the SAP Standard: Please refer also to SAP Note 2179147: Systems Retrofit: Badi Implementation for on Managed 10 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. All rights reserved. Activate BAdI Implementation 'RETRO_STANDALONE' (for BAdI Definition 'CTS_EXPORT_FEEDBACK')
The BAdI Method 'FEEDBACK_AFTER_EXPORT' contains the Coding which is required in order to inform the SAP Solution Manager System, when an original Transport Request is locally released on the referring Maintenance Development System. SAP Solution Manager will use the release information in order to calculate the Retrofit Data based on the current CSOL Lock Entries. Please activate the BAdI Implementation 'RETRO_STANDALONE'. Please implement the following SAP Note in addition: 2383213: Fix Badi Implementation STANDALONE RETROFIT Activate BAdI Implementation 'RETRO_STANDALONE' (for BAdI Definition 'CTS_EXPORT_FEEDBACK') 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. All rights reserved. 11
6 Populate Mapping Table /TMWFLOW/CTS_MAP with required Entries The Scenario reads the information from the database table /TMWFLOW/CTS_MAP, where the Mapping of CTS Project(s) created in SAP TMS (if utilized in the past) [Field: CTS_ID_REAL] to CTS Project(s), which are used in the active Change-/Release Cycle(s) [Field: CTS_ID_MAPPED], relevant for SAP Change Request Management is persisted. For Customers who have already utilized the Consulting Solution for in SAP Solution Manager Release 7.1, database table /TMWFLOW/CTS_MAP should be maintained, as follows: After the Upgrade to SAP Solution Manager Release 7.2, SP03 database table /TMWFLOW/CTS_MAP should contain entries, for which the currently used CTS Project IDs for SAP Change Request Management are mapped to themselves within the Table Fields [CTS_ID_REAL] and [CTS_ID_MAPPED]. There are three different ways in order to achieve this: 1. Manual Maintenance: In case that you work with one or only few CTS Project IDs in SAP Change Request Management, you could manually maintain the required entries in database table /TMWFLOW/CTS_MAP, 2. Execute the new Web Dynpro Applications 'Preparation of Maintenance Landscape', and 'Preparation of Implementation Landscape' as alternative: Launch Tr. SOLMAN_SETUP Change Control Management Managed System Setup 9. Configure Extended Function (Local) 9.3 Configure Retrofit WD_AGS_MAINT_PREP (Preparation of Maintenance Landscape), and WD_AGS_IMPL_PREP (Preparation of Implementation Landscape). By executing the mentioned Web Dynpro Applications the required entries in table /TMWFLOW/CTS_MAP will be automatically populated by the system. 12 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. All rights reserved. Populate Mapping Table /TMWFLOW/CTS_MAP with required Entries
Example: Web Dynpro Application: 'WD_AGS_MAINT_PREP' ('Preparation of Implementation Landscape'): 3. As third alternative Option, a new SAP Report will be made available for Customers via SAP Note XXXXXX. When executing this Report database table /TMWFLOW/CTS_MAP will also be populated with the required entries.
