PoE Power management 4.1 PoE settings (1) Power Provided: The total power provided by QSW16M PoE switch, i.e. the power provided by the built-in 54V power supply, has been set up when it leaves the factory, please do not modify it. If users modified the power supply, please correct this setting. If the setting value is larger than the actual power of the built-in power supply, this will cause damage to the built-in power supply. If the setting value is smaller than the actual power of built-in power supply, built-in power supply could not be fully allocated out. (2) Overload limit: The built-in power supply allows an overload value setting range of 0%-10%, default is 5%. If actual power draw is too large that cause built-in power supply to reduce power to the lower priority ports. (3) Reserved rate As default 15% of the switches power budget is reserved to compensate for unexpected load changes. This can be adjusted. The higher the value the lower the risk of system overload. 4.2 Power Status The power Status shows the current power situation, it gives details of what power is being used, what extra is available and how much is being held back as reserve. 4.3 Port Status and Control 12
1. Port number This refers the individual ports on each switch if this indicates a device is connected and power is being delivered. 2. Power Device Description A description of the device attached to each b port can be given 3. Priority 3 levels can be set Low, Medium, high. When a system overload occurs power is turned off to lower priority devices first. 4. Power Limit An individual limit can be set for each port. 5.
