Introduction Everything in your Trading Interfaces is opened or accessed through the menu at the top of your Trade Chart or Trade Window. You can open new charts, open accounts, logon and logoff Profiles, exit your trading platform and access your broker data feed. There are 5 menu items: 1) Trading: opens Profiles, Trade Windows, Trade Charts, Strategies, Drawing Tools, and Institutional Volume Filter. Allows you to save and copy Profiles, save Layouts, and you re your Trading Platform. 2) View: opens Account Manager, Order Window, allows you to refresh orders, opens the Bar Data Window and the Profit/Loss Window. 3) Options: opens Application Options, and your data feed and broker feed options. 4) Charts: all charts are accessed from here. 5) Help: links to help an documentation, remote support and you can find your current version of this trading software here. Trading Profiles This will open a Profile window allowing you to logon to your broker s data feed or simulation data feed and choose a contract to watch or trade. New See the Basic Introduction to Your Trading Platform guide for more information on Profiles. You can create as many Profiles as you like. You can create a Profile with a name related to a trading strategy you would like to practice. You can keep track of your profitability by naming an account with the same name and using that account to trade your strategy. This gives you a great opportunity to try a variety of strategies without any financial risk and hone your trading skills.

You can open a Standard Trade Window, Trade Window 3.X, any type of Trade Chart, MultiDome, and/or Quote Screen from this window. There are 5 different Standard Trade Chart types you can open: 1. Price Volume: This is a Trade Chart with 2 panes: volume and price. 2. Price Volume IndicatorX1: This is a Trade Chart with 3 panes: volume, price and one indicator pane. 3. Price Volume IndicatorX2: This is a Trade Chart with 4 panes: volume, price and two indicator panes. 4. Price IndicatorX1: This is a Trade Chart with 2 panes: price and one indicator (no volume pane). 5. Price IndicatorX2: This is a Trade Chart with 3 panes: price and two indicator panes (no volume pane). You can open up to 14 different Trade Windows from here. You can open different Profiles in each Trade Window and/or different contracts. This gives you the opportunity to practice various strategies at the same time. Note: You cannot have 2 different Trade Windows open and trade the same contract in the same account. For Simulation Trading you can create as many Accounts as you want so you can trade the same contract with different Trade Windows and different Profiles.

Strategies There are 4 different Strategy Windows you can open: 1) Order Strategies This opens the Order Strategies window. There are a number of pre-defined Order Strategies that come with the Trading Platform. These are explained in the Basic Trade Management Guide. You can also create your own Order Strategies. This is explained in the Basic Order Strategies Guide. 2) Trailing Stop This opens the Trailing Stop window. The Trailing Stop strategy is used only with the Standard Trade Window. Setting up this strategy is explained in the Quick Start Guide to Placing a Trade on your Trade Window.

3) Strategy Builder This is available in the Professional Version. It allows to build simple or complex strategies to enter and/or exit a position based on the conditions of your choice. 4) Multiple Order Targets This opens the Multiple Order Targets Window (MOT). Using this strategy is explained in the Basic Trade Management Guide.

Tools 1. Institutional Volume Filter This is available in the Professional Version only. This tool allows you to see how much buying vs selling is occurring as the market is trading at each price during the day.

2. Alert This allows you to set an audio alert based on different bar values and indicators. Save Profile This allows you to save your Profile so any charts, strategies and alerts created with this Profile will open the next time you logon to the Profile. Save Profile As This allows you to save your Profile with a different name. It basically copies your Profile so you can save it with a different name. Exit Platform This will exit your Trading Platform. When you exit you will be asked if you want to save the current Layout. If you have made changes you want to save click Save & Exit to save these changes. If you have made changes you do NOT want to save click Exit. If you have not made any changes you can click Save & Exit or Exit. To cancel exiting the platform click Cancel.

View Account Manager This opens up the Accounts window where you can create, edit and manage your live and simulation trading accounts. See the Using Account Manager guide for more information on this window. Order Window The Order Window shows you your open and filled orders. You can cancel open orders from here, see orders by account and see all your order information. 1) The top pane of the Order window shows your open orders. Buy orders are blue and Sell orders are red. 2) The bottom pane shows your filled orders.

3) Cancel Selected: You can click on any row in the top pane and cancel any open orders. This will send live order cancellations to the Exchange. 4) Cancel All: Clicking this button will cancel ALL open orders. 5) Account Filter: Click on the arrow to see all the accounts you have set up. You can select one account to see just the orders from that account instead of seeing the orders from all accounts. 6) Show Fills Only: Check this to remove your cancelled orders from the list. If you uncheck this box the cancelled orders will be visible again. 7) Save Files to Excel: You can create an Excel file of your fills when you click this button. 8) Print Completed will open your printer window so you can print all the orders in the bottom pane. 9) Active Font Size: Click the top arrow to increase the font size of the orders in the top pane. Click the bottom arrow to decrease the font size of the orders in the top pane. 10) Completed Font Size: Click the top arrow to increase the font size of the orders in the bottom pane. Click the bottom arrow to decrease the font size of the orders in the bottom pane. Refresh Orders Click this button to refresh orders in the Order Window. This goes to the API (Application Program Interface) and reads the order status from your broker s backend server. This should verify the accuracy of any orders you have filled or pending. Bar Data Window 1) The middle column (1) shows the data for the selected bar. If you click and drag across a number of bars this shows you the data for the last bar selected. 2) The right column (2) shows the range or average data for a selected number of bars (when clicking and dragging to select more than one bar.) Click on any bar on your chart and you will see all the data for that particular bar/candle. Left click on any bar and drag the cursor across your desired number of bars and release the mouse. This will show you the

data based on the range of those bars in the Quick Sum column on the right side of the data bar. V/T Delta: This gives the difference between the Bid and Ask on the selected bar(s). The first number is the difference between the bid/ask on Volume and the second number (after the forward slash) gives you the bid/ask spread on the Ticks for the selected bar(s). RngHL: This gives you the number of ticks from the high to the low of the bar. RngOC: This gives you the number of ticks between the open and the close. A positive number denotes an up bar and a negative number denotes a down bar. Profit/Loss Window This Profit and Loss window shows you the Profit or Loss for the contract that is being traded in your Trade Window or Trade Chart for today. It also shows your Total Net Points, Total Net Profit, and current Account Balance for the total history of the Account being traded. The Profit or Loss is also shown for any Open Position. Options In addition to the Application Options you will see various data feed options depending on which data feeds you are subscribed to. esignal and IQ are independent data feeds. If you subscribe to either of these data feeds you can set your parameters in their options window. CQG, PATS, and BestDirect are possible backend data feeds that will show in this list depending on who your broker is. You will only see one of these. Application Options Selecting this will open the Applications Options window where you can set a multitude of options for your Trading Interfaces. See the Application Options guide for more detailed information.

esignal Options Historical data is provided from the previous day and back is automatically provided from the proprietary data server that is part of your Trading Platform package. Therefore you only need to fill data from esignal for 24 hours or less. This shows your esignal entitlements. Your username and password for esignal were entered when you installed esignal so you do not need to use them here. IQ Options If you subscribe to IQ data feed you can set your options in this window. Just as with esignal you only need to back fill data from today. The historical data is backfilled from the proprietary data feed subscription that comes with your Trading Platform. You will need your UserName and Password from IQ Data Systems. CQG Options If your broker uses CQG you will see this option in the drop down list. When you select CQG this window will open. Put the UserName and Password from your broker in this window. Do not change any of the other options unless instructed to do so by your broker.

PATS Options If your broker uses PATS, this window will open. Enter your UserName and Password from your broker. Your broker will also give you a Firewall User name and Password. Enter these as well. Do not change any other options unless directed to do so by your broker. BestDirect Options If your broker uses BestDirect, this option will appear in the drop down menu under Options. Selecting BestDirect will open this window. Enter the Access Key and Account given to you from your broker. Bluewater Options This is the default server that provides data for any contract shown in the dropdown list under Contract Name in the Profile window. If tech support asks you to change the data server, they will direct you what to type in for the server. Then you need to check the Refresh Data box and click OK to receive data from the newly selected server. If the data source has dropped and you need to reconnect to data, you can check the Refresh Data box and then click OK to reconnect to the server.

Charts Standard: This opens the different options for the number of indicator panes you want to have, the option to have a volume pane. This is explained in more detail in the Quick Start Guide to Placing a Trade on your Trade Chart. Templates Click the arrow to see the chart templates you have saved. If you want to save your chart settings as a template when in Chart Mode, simply right click on the chart and choose Save Chart Template. For more information about saving chart templates see the Trade Chart Menus guide. Woodies CCI You can open these standardized Woodies CCI charts if you use that methodology for your trading. Woodies CCI Trading Panel shown below:

Volume Charts If you are subscribed to the Professional Version you will have access to these charts. The Professional Version enables all the volume analysis across the Trading Interfaces. Help Help and Documentation This will take you to the Portal page where you can access all the documentation on the different versions: Standard Version, Auto Version, and Pro Version.

Remote Support You would only use this option if you are talking to tech support. They will direct you to open the Remote Support window. When you click on one of the Support names this will allow tech support to see your computer and work on any problems you have or give you instructions where they can see what you are doing or show you how to do something. This is a great support tool. Send Log Files If tech support directs you to select this option, a window will open notifying you that your log files are being sent to tech support. About This window will tell you which version of the Trading Platform you have installed.
