Flip the OptiPac-3 over and write the serial number here: The serial number is required later in the procedure. Serial Numbers with 05-11017-01 Controller Note: 3. Determine the probable PCBA installed in your OptiPac-3 by checking the serial number list in Table 1 below. If your OptiPac-3 serial number appears on the list you should have an 05-11017-01 Controller PCBA and should use the first cartridge P/N in the table 2 below. If your serial number does not appear in the list at the end of the document you probably have an 05-11019-21 Controller PCBA. The following OptiPac-3 serial numbers have been identified by Bering as having the 05-11017-01 Controller PCBA. Even if your OptiPac-3 does not appear on this list, it may contain this PCBA. If you attempt to upgrade using the wrong firmware upgrade cartridge it will indicate No Loadable Firmware Found on the front panel LCD. If this happens, go to the main menu, eject the cartridge, recycle the power and run the upgrade procedure again from step 10 on page 3 with the other cartridge. 0302A001 0302A002 0302A003 0302A004 0302A005 0302A006 0302A007 0302A008 0302A009 0302A010 0302A011 0302A012 0302A013 0302A014 0302A015 0302A016 0402A001 0402A002 0402A003 0402A004 0402A005 0402A006 0402A007 0602A001 0602A002 Table 1: OptiPac-3 serial numbers with 05-11017-01 PCBA Determining Base Firmware Version 4.
