Note: The LED indicator will appear very dim to remain covert. Turn the pen upside-down to see the indicator at full brightness. 3

Using the zpen-1080p 1. Turning the zpen On and Off To power on the zpen press and hold the button until the blue indicator light appears. The light will turn green and blink several times and then automatically begin recording video. To turn off the zpen push and hold the top button until the light turns off. 2. Recording Video Power on the zpen-1080p. When first turned on the zpen will automatically begin recording video. Push the button to stop a recording, the blue light turns on and the zpen is in standby mode. Push the button again to begin another recording. Video is saved every ten minutes as a new file. NOTE: Be sure to open the lens cover before recording. 4

3. Taking Photos To enter the photo mode, power on the zpen and stop recording so that it is in standby mode (solid blue light), double-click the button, and the zpen will enter photo mode The light will blink blue and green. Click the button once to take a picture, the blue light blinks twice to indicate that the picture was taken successfully. To leave photo mode, double-click the button and the zpen will return to standby mode and the light will become solid blue. 5

4. Auto Power Off When the battery runs low, the blue light will blink and then the zpen-1080p will shut down. When the memory is full the light will blink blue and green and the zpen will shut down. If you leave the zpen in Standby mode (solid blue light) after a minute of no interaction the zpen will shut off. 5. Charging the Battery The zpen-1080p has an internal, rechargeable battery. The battery can be charged several ways. Connect the zpen to a USB port on your computer. Plug the zpen into the USB to DC 5V adapter. The light will Flash Blue while Charging When fully charged the light will remain Solid Blue. 6. Resetting the zpen In the event of an error, the zpen-1080p can be reset by inserting a pin or needle or sim-card tool into the Reset Hole and holding it for several seconds. 6

7. Setting up the zpen-1080p Connect the zpen-1080p to a windows PC via a USB port, a new removable disk will appear in your drives. Open the removable disk, you will find files containing your Videos, Audio recordings and Photos. You will also find a copy of this manual and a setup file. Double click setup.exe appear: and the following window will You can set date/time, frame size, video image quality, audio volume, etc. After finishing changing, click the button Create configuration file on the lower left to save the settings. 7

Limited Warranty from Zetronix Corp., Zetronix Corporation ( Zetronix ) warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship as follows: PRODUCT: Zetronix will repair this product with new or refurbished parts, free of charge, for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship. REPAIRS: Zetronix will repair or replace defective parts used in the repair or replacement of this product with new or refurbished parts, free of charge, for a period equal to the remainder of the original limited warranty period on the original product, or for 60 days after the date of the repair or replacement, whichever is longer. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, which is evidence that the unit is within the warranty period, must be presented to obtain warranty service. To obtain warranty service, you must take this product, or deliver the product freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection, to Zetronix Corporation. See below for additional information. This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials and workmanship, which occur during normal use. The warranty does not cover damages which occurred in shipment, cosmetic damage, damage that is attributable to acts of God, failures which are caused by products not supplied by the warrantor, or failures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, faulty installation, misapplication, improper installation, operation or maintenance, alteration, modification, introduction of sand, humidity or liquids, line power surge, improper voltage supply, lightning damage, or subjecting the product to operating/environmental conditions in excess of the maximum values or below the minimum values set forth in the applicable specifications, or products serviced by anyone other than Zetronix. This warranty is invalid if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product. This warranty does not cover products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS. This warranty excludes consumable parts such as batteries and power supplies. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS LISTED ABOVE. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER.
