SAFETY & GENERAL INFORMATION Please read the following information before using this product: To avoid hearing damage, make sure that the volume on your transmitting device is turned down before connecting your REVOLUTION. After placing the headphones on your ears, gradually turn up the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level. Noise levels are measured in decibels (db) and exposure to any noise at or above 85 db can cause gradual hearing loss. Users are not permitted to make changes or modify the product and the accessories in any way. Do not use the product while operating a motor vehicle. To avoid electronic interference, turn off the headphones in any facilities where posted notices instruct you to do so, for example: aircraft, military bases, hospitals, health care facilities, etc. Keep away from fire, water, and high voltage equipment. Follow the charging procedure described in this guide to charge the REVOLUTION. 2

First time use Charging the battery before use is recommended but not required. The headphones ship pre-charged, however, the initial charge may vary. Low battery is indicated by the status LED flashing red with an audible tone heard every 20 seconds. CHARGING THE REVOLUTION Charging using the USB cable The headphones include a Micro USB cable that can be connected to your computer or other devices made for USB charging. Plug the Micro USB charging cable into the charging port of the REVOLUTION located below the Pair button. Plug in the other end of the cable into a USB port on a PC, Mac or USB wall outlet. The status LED will be red while charging and will turn off when fully charged. 3

Pair Mode Ensure that your smartphone or music player is powered on. Press and hold the Pair button for 3 seconds until the status LED begins to flash both blue and red. You will also hear an audible pairing tone. You are now in Pair Mode and your device will be able to see the REVOLUTION for pairing. 5

PAIRING (STEP BY STEP) Pairing (Detailed Step-by-Step Instructions) 1. Make sure your REVOLUTION is powered on. 2. Keep the REVOLUTION and your device within 10 feet while pairing. 3. Place the REVOLUTION into Pair Mode by pressing and holding the Pair button for 3 seconds until the status LED begins to flash both blue and red. 4. In your device settings, begin searching/scanning for Bluetooth devices. 5. The REVOLUTION will appear in the list of available devices as 66 REVOLUTION. 6. Tap the REVOLUTION name to connect and pair. 7. You are now paired and the status LED will intermittently flash blue to indicate successful connection. You will also hear an audible from the headphones. 6 If pairing is not successful, switch off the REVOLUTION by sliding the Power button up and then re-pair using to the steps outlined above. After pairing is successful, paired devices will remember each other unless pairing information is deleted. There is no need to pair again. When turned on, the REVOLUTION will automatically connect with the most recent paired device. If you want to pair with other Bluetooth devices, switch off the Bluetooth function of your current paired device, then pair the REVOLUTION with the new Bluetooth device according to the steps outlined above.

Adjusting Volume Press the Volume +/- button to adjust the volume. One short press will adjust one interval. When the volume reaches maximum or minimum volume, the REVOLUTION will alert you with an audible tone. LISTENING TO MUSIC Note: Volume can be adjusted using either your headphone or your music device. Play/Pause Music Press the Multifunction button one time to play or pause music. Skip Tracks To skip to the next track when music is playing, press and hold the volume (+) button for 2 seconds. To go back to the previous track, long-press the volume (-) button for 2 seconds. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) ANC technology in the REVOLUTION actively monitors ambient sound to reduce background noise and provide an optimal listening experience in loud environments. To enable the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature, slide the ANC switch down. The LED indicator will illuminate to show that ANC is active. 7

LISTENING TO MUSIC, CONT D Connecting via the 3.5mm Audio Cable The REVOLUTION has the ability to connect with non-bluetooth enabled devices using the provided 3.5mm stereo headphone cable. To connect, plug the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone jack under the Multifunction button on the headphones and plug the other end of the cable into your non-bluetooth audio source device. Note: The audio cable will allow you to listen to music even if the REVOLUTION is turned off. It also allows you to use the REVOLUTION in places where wireless signals are restricted. 8

Receiving a Phone Call CALL OPERATION The REVOLUTION is equipped with an omnidirectional, noise-cancelling microphone featuring Clear Voice Capture (cvc ) technology for optimal call clarity. If music is playing while an incoming call is received (or an outgoing call is initiated), the headphones will automatically pause music and enable hands-free voice audio. Press the Multifunction button once to accept an incoming call, then speak in any position to communicate with the other party. After the call has ended, music will automatically resume playing. Note: When pressing the Multifunction button to answer or end a call, only press one time. Do not press and hold. 9

CALL OPERATION, CONT D Making a Call 1. Use the keypad on your smartphone to dial the desired number. 2. Press the Send or Dial key on your smartphone to initiate the call. 3. The call is automatically routed to the headphones. Voice Dialing 1. Enable the voice recognition function on your smartphone. 2. Hold down the Multifunction button on the headphones for 2 seconds. You will hear a beep. 3. Clearly say the name of the person you wish to call. Ending a Call Use either of the following methods to end a call: Press the Multifunction button one time to end a call from the headphones. End a call via your smartphone. 10 If you are listening to music when making a call or receiving a call, the headphones will switch the wireless connection from the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) to the Hands-Free Profile (HSP or HFP). Music will be temporarily paused. After the call ends, music will automatically resume playing.

CALL OPERATION, CONT D Refusing a Call To refuse an incoming call, press and hold the Multifunction button for 2 seconds until you hear a prompt from the headphones. Release the button to refuse the call. Redial the Last Number To redial the last call made, quickly tap the Multifunction button twice. Note: Your smartphone must support this function. Muting the microphone During a call, press and hold the Volume - button for 2 seconds until you hear a short beep. The same function will un-mute a call. 11
