For the horizontal measurement this should be measured from the C as this is the largest part of the logo. The RSCM Blue logo should only be used on white, or light coloured backgrounds. The RSCM White & Gold logo should only be used on dark backgrounds Area logos can be created using the Minion Pro font (or Times New Roman in office documents). The area name needs to stretch along the length of the logo. However the font must be kept in proportion with the size of the logo. We recommend the height being around a third of the main logo. Only use the logos that can be downloaded from www.rscm.com/logos Pg 1 RSCM Logo Guidelines 2016

Please use the same guidelines and spacing as recommended in the print format. Email hints and tips A simple way to create a neat email using the header is by inserting a table with 2 rows into your email. Then insert the header into the top row (re-size to fit), then use the second row to add your text. Once you have added your content you can select the table (using the top left hand box that appears with a cross in it) and then go to table tools > design click on borders and select no borders. This will make your design look a little cleaner. Whether you use the logo or a header make sure it s at the top of your email so it s clear who the message is from. We suggest that your sender name has RSCM in the from box so it s clear who the email is from and encourages people to open your message. We also recommend that you add the following details to your email footer: Registered charity no. 312828), main area contact name, phone number, email address, area specific website and www.rscm.com website.
