Other Ongoing Projects Implement the National Digital Literacy Program & ICT awareness campaigns Implement free WiFi at all Public Premises, Internet Bus Project, City Road Navigation Systems Implement the Smart Administration Project, e-passport Project, the CCTV Project Deploy Village Knowledge Hubs at every cell countrywide Support the implementation of the cyber crime investigation centre at RNP Support the implementation of the Girls in ICT agenda Policies in pipeline: ewaste Policy, Open Data Policy, 5G Readiness Support the development of BPO Clusters in Rwanda Contribute to the Smart Africa Alliance agenda together with other key stakeholders (Meberstates, ITU, ATU,Global Industry,WB, AfDB, etc) Implement the Northern Corridor Integration Project Directives (including the One Network Area for SMS/Data/Mobile payments, Regional CSIRT, Regional PKI Project, Implementation of the regional cyber security MoU, interconnection of National Backbone Infrastructures, implement the regional e-services Strategy, Implement the Regional Internet Exchange Point and joint participation in ICT events, etc)

Key messages from SRMP Focus Area 1: Business and Innovation area: Will focus on Exports Promotion and FDIs with projects as Kigali Innovation City as well as nurturing our home grown ICT businesses. Focus Area 2: The national economic digital transformation area The 7 SMART pillars are: SMART Agriculture, Finance, Trade and Industry, Health, Education, Government, and Women & Youth Empowerment in Technology (WOY-Tech). The 3 SMART enablers are: ICT Capability & Capacity, Secure & Shared Infrastructure as well as Governance & Management. Focus Area 3: The Future Planning area Focus on R&D and leveraging global technology trends so as to feed our economic digital transformation. Several trends with great potential have been identified in areas of SC&SC, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Drone Technology, 3D Printing, creative industries and cyber security
