[Knowing Your VoIP Phone] Button Function Description Navigation Button Message Button Enables you to navigate menus and select features displayed on the LCD screen Provides access to the Message system Directory Button Settings Button Services Button Volume Control Mute Button Speaker Phone Headset Provides access to system directories (Corporate Directory, Missed, Placed & Received Calls) Provides access to phone settings; ring tones, brightness, background pictures, and status information Provides access to any available phone services (none are configured at this time) Adjusts volume on handset, headset, or speaker and ring volume Mutes handset, headset or speaker Enables speaker phone Activate headset

[Soft Keys] Soft Keys allow user to access additional phone features. Available keys will vary depending on if you are on an active call or the phone is idle. Frequently Used Soft Keys Redial New Call CFwdALL (Call Forward) Hold End Call Trnsfer (Transfer) Resume Confrn (Conference) Join Save Exit

[Placing a Call] You can place a call many different ways. Press the LINE button, or Press the NewCall soft key, or Press the SPEAKER button, or Lift the handset, or Press the HEADSET button Then, dial a phone number.

[Hold & Resume] [Place a call on hold] Press the Hold soft key on your phone. You can answer other calls while a call is on hold. If you have multiple calls on hold, use the Navigation button (white up and down arrows) to select the correct call. [Resume a Call] Use the Navigation button to select the call on hold and choose the associated line button to activate the call or click the Resume soft key

[Transfers] [Transfer a Call] During a call, press the Transfer soft key - this automatically puts the call on hold Dial the number or extension to which you want to transfer the call When it rings on the other end, press Transfer again - or, when the party answers, announce the call and then press Transfer. If you are using a handset, hang up If the party refuses the call or you get their voice mail, press the Resume soft key to return to the original call

[Forwarding] [Forward Calls] Press the CFwdAll soft key and enter the forwarding number To forward all calls to voicemail, press CFwdAll, followed by the Message button The display screen will always indicate when and to what number the phone is forwarded To Cancel: Press the CFwdALL soft key again [Use a Headset?] Press the Headset icon to activate the headset press the EndCall soft key or press the headset icon again to end the call

[Conference Calls] [Conference a Call] During an active call press the More soft key followed by the Confrn soft key (this will automatically select another line and place first caller on hold) Dial the number or extension of the person you want to join the call When the other party answers press the Confrn soft key again to bring them into the call (this can be repeated again to allow a maximum of 5 callers on and ad-hoc conference call) If the party refuses the call or you get their voice mail, press the EndCall soft key followed by Resume to return to the original call

[Call Logs] [View Missed, Received and Placed Calls] Press the Directories button Use the Navigation button to select the desired directory, and click the Select soft key To place a call from any directory, use the Navigation button to select the record, then click the Dial soft key Note: Use the EditDial soft key to add digits to the front of the number. (For example, if the call was from an outside, long-distance caller, you would need to add the digits 9 and 1 to the number before dialing.) Then, press the Dial soft key

[Directories] Press the Directories button Use the Navigation button to scroll to the corporate directory option, and press the Select soft key The display screen will prompt you to key in the name you are searching for: Use your dial pad to text out the name then click search Use the Navigation button to scroll to correct name and click the Dial soft key Note: The corporate directory will search on as little as one character - but at least two will narrow the search results significantly

[Ring Tones] [To change the ring sound] Press the Settings button Select User Preferences menu and press the Select soft key Select Rings, then the ring type, and press the Play soft key to hear the selected ring type When you find the ring you want, press the Select soft key Press the SAVE soft key to save the settings and/or press the EXIT soft key to exit the Settings menu

[Brightness & Viewing Angle] [To change the LCD viewing angle or brightness while in the Settings menu] Press the SETTINGS button Select the User Preferences option on the menu, then choose either Viewing Angle or Brightness Use the UP or DOWN soft key to set the desired intensity of the display. Press the OK soft key to accept the changes Press the SAVE soft key to save the settings and/or press the EXIT soft key to exit the Settings menu

[Volume Controls] [To increase or decrease the volume] press the + or icons on the VOLUME button The VOLUME button adjusts the volume only for the currently active voice receiver unless the adjustment is saved To save your volume adjustment for all calls, press the SAVE soft key after making adjustments

[Volume Controls] [Mute a Call] Mute a call by pressing the mute button (white microphone icon) Press the button again to take the call off of mute [Use the Speakerphone] Press speakerphone icon to activate the speaker (white speaker icon) Press the speakerphone icon again to end (disconnect) call or the EndCall soft key

[Parking] [Call Park] allows you to put a call on HOLD, and retrieve the call from any other VOIP phone. When on a call, select the PARK soft key. This puts the call on hold. The phone will display a 5-digit code on the bottom of the phone display (this is where the call is parked). Remember this code to retrieve your call. From any VOIP phone, enter the 5-digit code to retrieve the call
