If you are connected via Ethernet cable, either for DSL or Cable Internet connectivity, verify if there is a blinking green light on the LAN port. The link and activity lights on the LAN port help you verify if your connection is working or not. 3. If you are using a Cable Internet connection and using a router, disconnect the router and connect the PC directly into the modem. Restart your modem and PC (unplug any additional computers you may have physically connected to the modem for troubleshooting.) 4. In order to access the command prompt, type CMD in the start search field in the start menu to bring up a DOS screen. When at the screen, type in IPCONFIG /ALL to bring your network IP Address and Physical Address. Copy your IP and Physical address and give this information to your ISP for internet connectivity troubleshooting. No Power: If you cannot turn on your PC, or it is not responding when you press the power button, follow these steps: TROUBLESHOOTING 1.
