How to Join the 275km or 50km Existing Teams as a New or Returning Participant 1. Go to Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign Pledges: http://www.grandmotherscampaignpledges.ca 2. Once on the home page, click on Create a Fundraising Page from the menu at the top of the page. 3

3. You are now on the Create a Fundraising Page. Here you are presented with two options: Event Organizer and Event Participant. As you re joining a team page that has already been created (either the 275km or 50 km) you ll be an Event Participant. However, if you ve already had a page before in the past please read the directions written in the right column. If you are a returning participant (in other words, you had a fundraising page last year), please do steps 4 and 5 to carry over information like your address book and message templates from your previous page. If you don t remember your password call 1-888-203-9990 ext 302 to have your password reset! OR If you have never made an online fundraising page before and are a new participant, select Event Participant and press Continue. You can skip steps 4 and 5 as they are for returning participants and you can continue following this Guide from step 6. 4

4. Returning Participants: (If this is your first time having a page, please proceed to step 6 and skip steps 4 and 5) A box will pop up, here, you will fill in your username and password from that you used in 2014 or 2015. Then click Login. If you don t remember your password, please feel free to call us at 1-888-203-9990 ext 302 or 230 and we can change it for you on the phone! 5. Another box will then open asking if you d like to carry your information over. Click Continue. After you click Continue you will proceed to the next step that is identical for new users. 5

6. If you re a new participant who hasn t had a page before, you ll select Event Participant and then press Continue. 6

7. The page that will load will let you choose which Team to join. In the search field type Victoria and press Search. 7

8. The two cycle tours, 275km and 50km will appear. Click Join for whichever you d like to join. 8

9. You will now be presented with a waiver that you must accept in order to continue. Click the small square box at the bottom that says I agree with the terms and conditions above, and click Continue. 9

1. You will then be directed to a page where you will enter your information to create your personal page. If you are a returning participant this information will automatically fill in. a. You will be asked to create your personal fundraising goal. This can be changed later on. b. You will also create your personal username and password on this page, which you will use to login; don t forget to write it down! * (If ever you forget your password you can always give us a call and we can reset it.) c. Once you re finished entering everything, press Continue. Please indicate which group you are a part of when you register. This will ensure that all the funds raised are credited to this group. 10

10. You will now be presented with a summary of all of your information. You can click either Edit button to change anything you have entered, or if you are happy with the information, click Continue. If not, press Edit to change the relevant information. 11. You are done! Click the Start Fundraising Now button to go to your Participant Centre. 11

How to Personalize your Page 1. After logging in, you will be taken to your Participant Centre. From the Menu Bar (circled), click the first option - Personal Page - to start personalizing your page. If you are the event organizer, you can click Team Page (second from the left) in your Participant Centre Menu and then follow the same steps listed below to personalize your team page. Please note: To make edits to personal and team pages, it may be necessary to disable pop-up blockers. Steps for disabling pop-up window blockers in different web browsers are available at: http://www.lbl.gov/ehs/training/webcourses/globalassets/courserequirements/disablepopups/disablepopups.html 12

2. To edit the title of your page or the text of your page, click on the edit text button at the top left of the boxes. Asmita s Page 3. A box will pop up this is where you can make any changes. Click anywhere in the window and type what you like. When you are finished, click Update at the bottom right of this pop up box, and your page will update with your changes. 13

3. To edit the photo click on the edit images/videos button at the top left of the box containing the default image. A box will pop up this is where you can make changes. Asmita s Page a. First, click Select and choose the photo you wish to add to your page. When you have done that, then click Upload Image. When you are happy with the photo you have chosen, click Save in the bottom right hand corner. (Note a horizontal photo will display best on your page!) 14

How to Personalize your Page as a Returning User 1. After logging in, you will be taken to your Participant Centre. From the Menu Bar (circled), click the first option - Personal Page - to start personalizing your page. 15

2. Here, you have the option of carrying over your content from the year prior. In order to do so click the little triangle for the drop-down menu. This then lists all of your previous pages. Select the page that you would like (likely your most recent year), and then click the aqua blue button Import to Current Event. 16

How to Share your Page on Facebook 1. To share your page through Facebook, click the Get Social button from your Participant Centre. Then select Share Your Fundraising Page in the bottom left-hand corner. a. If you are not currently logged into your Facebook account, you will be asked to do so. A post will then be generated. 17

How to Donate to a Person or Team 1. Click Donate from the main menu. 2. This is where you will find the team/event or individual participant you wish to donate to. If you would like to see a list of all available teams/events and participants, please click Search without entering any information in the provided fields. If you know part or all of the team/event name or participant name, enter it in the relevant field and click Search. 3. You can choose if you d like to donate to an individual participant or to the team page. You can click either the Participant s Name or the Team Name. You will then be lead to the respective fundraising page. 18

4. If you wish to donate to an individual participant, when you are on the donation page, or you can click on their name, which will take you to the participant s page. Asmita s Page 5. If you would prefer to donate to the event/team as a whole, click on the team name from your search, or click go to team page from the individual s page. You will be taken to the team page, where you can click the Donate to our Event button. 19
