Thin Client Solutions using VisuNet RM Shell 4 Pepperl+Fuchs offers a variety of new thin client solutions for Emerson in the form of industrial remote monitors and a new industrial box thin client. Both thin client solutions feature VisuNet Remote Monitor Firmware, the RM Shell 4, which represents the newest generation of VisuNet thin client solutions. The RM Shell 4 is easy to use and provides full support for virtualized process control systems via remote protocols like Microsoft RDP. The new RM Shell 4 user interface makes it easy to setup the thin clients. Combined with its outstanding security features like integrated firewall, enhanced write filters, passwordprotected user roles for configuration, and locked-down USB ports, the RM Shell 4 provides the ideal solution for the process automation industries. 5

HART Multiplexer Pepperl+Fuchs Group continues to offer the HART Multiplexer, which is still a favorite in many Emerson applications. Each H-System HART Multiplexer (HID MUX 2700) provides communication to 32 HART devices. This allows up to 992 field devices to be addressed via one RS485 interface with 31 H-System HART Multiplexers. The HART Communication Board is used with the H-System HART Multiplexer HID MUX2700. With the redundant power supply and RS485 terminals you get maximum availability for your application. Other termination boards for integration of the Mux2700 in several DCS are available. Additional Products Pepperl+Fuchs offers a variety of additional products that are often used by Emerson and Emerson LBPs in providing a complete automation solution to end users in many industries. PROFIBUS PA PROFIBUS PA power supplies, trunk-to-spur couplers, and physical layer advanced diagnostics are exactly the same as those for FOUNDATION fieldbus. PROFIBUS PA/DP couplers The Pepperl+Fuchs unit is the best solution since the gateway simply does pass-through and the field devices on PA appear just as field devices on DP, with no mapping.
