1. Introduction The goal of this document is to collect all information about Project MUSCLE and share it within one document. This document will be regularly updated with new information and cannot be considered final or definitive. Project MUSCLE covers four main areas where changes will be executed: 1. Key Service Improvements will make sure the key services like Exchange and web hosting are upgraded to the latest versions. 2. Platform Upgrade will focus on bringing the OSA (ODIN/Parallels provisioning) platform from version 5.5 to 6, then to 7. 3. Portfolio Expansion introduces new products like Office 365 and Cloud Desktop. 4. Improve Operational Support focuses on improvements in support and partner communication. 2. Key Service Improvements 2.1.1. Exchange 2010 and 2013 Migration: Deprecated in Exchange 2016 New versions come with new features, and at the same time a new version is used to cut old features, or deprecate them. The following are features that are not available or deprecated in Exchange 2016: Support for Outlook 2007 Support for Exchange 2007 Outlook Anywhere Client Access server role: The Client Access server role has been replaced by Client Access services that run on the Mailbox server role. The Mailbox server role now performs all functionality that was previously included with the Client Access server role. For more information about the new Mailbox server role, see Exchange 2016 architecture. MAPI/CDO - The MAPI/CDO library has been replaced by Exchange Web Services (EWS), Exchange ActiveSync (EAS), and Representational State Transfer (REST)* APIs. If an application uses the MAPI/CDO library, it needs to move to EWS, EAS, or the REST APIs to communicate with Exchange 2016. Client access Outlook 2003 is not supported: To connect Microsoft Outlook to Exchange 2016, the use of the Autodiscover service is required. However, Microsoft Outlook 2003 doesn t support the use of the Autodiscover service. RPC/TCP access for Outlook clients: In Exchange 2016, Microsoft Outlook clients can connect using Outlook Anywhere (RPC/HTTP) or MAPI over HTTP Outlook 2013 Service Pack 1 and later. If you have Outlook clients in your organization, using Outlook Anywhere and/or MAPI over HTTP is required. For more information, see Outlook Anywhere and MAPI over HTTP in Exchange 2016.

Outlook Web App and Outlook Spell check - Outlook Web App no longer has built-in spell check services. Instead, it uses the spell check features included in your web browser. Customizable filters - Outlook Web App no longer has customizable filtered views and no longer supports saving filtered views to Favorites. Customizable filters have been replaced by fixed filters that can be used to view all messages, unread messages, messages sent to the user, or flagged messages. Message flags - The ability to set a custom date on a message flag isn t available in Outlook Web App. You can use Outlook to set custom dates. Chat contact list - The chat contact list that appeared in the folder list in Outlook Web App for Exchange 2010 is no longer available. Search folders - The ability for users to use Search folders isn t currently available in Outlook Web App. 2.1.2. Exchange 2016 Geographic Redundancy After discussions with many partners, we have decided to provide Exchange hosting platforms located in multiple countries - initially Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and possibly in Germany later this year. This will offer several benefits, including the choice of having data stored in either Luxembourg or the Netherlands, as well as the option of enhancing the built-in redundancy of Exchange by adding geographic redundancy, which means that if the Exchange database in one country went down, the platform could automatically switch to the other and avoid any downtime for customers.

2.1.3. SWHL webhosting to be discontinued 30 April 2017 Please be informed that websites still using our old SWHL hosting platform will no longer be supported by LuxCloud after 31 March 2017. This means that they will no longer be available after this date and should be redeveloped using current technology. Why is SWHL webhosting being discontinued? We replaced the outdated SWHL webhosting solution with Linux Next Generation webhosting in our portfolio 4 years ago, but continued supporting these websites until now. However, the SWHL platform, including scripting languages and databases, is no longer supported by the open source community, and is no longer being updated. This means that it is vulnerable to security threats and other issues. What are the options I can provide my customers? As mentioned above, the SWHL webhosting platform is no longer being supported or updated by the open source community (please visit php.net or mysql.com to see the versions currently supported). This means that the affected websites should be redeveloped using a different technology. We suggest that the existing website content be copied to a different CMS environment, or where relevant, that the complete website be redesigned on a different platform like our Linux NG platform or using the Basekit Sitebuilder software. Does this also apply to the NG Hosting platform? No, the NG Hosting platform is a more recent development and has been updated regularly. 2.1.4. Blackberry BIS server support to be discontinued 30 April 2017 LuxCloud will stop supporting the Blackberry Enterprise Server for Exchange on 30 April 2017, as the demand for Blackberry has dropped significantly. This means that remote setup and remote wiping of devices connected to LCBES01 will no longer be possible. Email access should still be possible but will need to be reconfigured to use the new Exchange 2016 server details. 2.1.5. Windows Hosting to be discontinued 30 April 2017 LuxCloud will stop support for Windows Web Hosting as the demand for this product has been extremely low and maintenance for this product is high. We are looking at a new flavour of hosting that ODIN is launching this year, which is based on the popular PLESK hosting solutions. 2.1.6. Virtuozzo to be discontinued 30 April 2017 As the version of Virtuozzo that LuxCloud provides is reaching End-Of-Life status from its provider (Virtuozzo) we also need to discontinue it. Unfortunately, there is no migration path provided from the current solution which means that we cannot offer a migration service for this product. LuxCloud will continue to supply infrastructure services via the new Cloud Infrastructure as a Service solution.

3. Platform Upgrade 3.1.1. Upgrade from OSA 5.5. to OSA 6.0 On Friday, 16 December, LuxCloud s ODIN Service Automation platform was upgraded from version 5.5 to 6.0. The upgrade was carried out in preparation for a second upgrade to OSA 7. In OSA 6.0 there are many improvements, but mostly at core level, so they are not always visible. Here are just a few highlights from this release: Version 6.0 expands support for Microsoft solutions and allows service providers to offer Windows shared hosting with the latest versions of Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2014, as well as to migrate customers from the 2007 and 2010 versions of Hosted Exchange to the 2013 edition. Service providers and resellers can now transfer subscriptions between customer accounts. For example, if an end user unintentionally creates a separate account when trying to buy additional services, these new services can now be transferred back to their main customer account ensuring that all users and services link up to the same account and invoice. Customer accounts can now be transferred between a service provider and their resellers, enabling service providers to keep a customer within their resale channel even if they experience changes with their current reseller. The transfer scenarios include: o Transferring from one reseller to another, o From a service provider to a reseller, o Or from a reseller to a service provider. Tiered volume pricing allows a service provider or reseller to charge different prices for different ranges of resource amounts within a single subscription. Identity Manager offers the ability to link user accounts to external identities of registered authentication providers also known as single sign-on. With Identity Manager a user can log into a service provider s control panel and online store using their Google, Facebook, or corporate domain account, or by using a simple 4-digit PIN from Certivox. Identity Manager also allows APS-enabled services to integrate with Odin Service Automation using the standard SAML protocol which enables users to directly login to cloud services using their Service Automation credentials. These are just a few of the many new capabilities and benefits delivered in Service Automation version 6.0. 3.1.2. Upgrade to OSA 7 Odin Automation Premium is a highly scalable and flexible cloud commerce automation platform that empowers the top service providers worldwide to offer a breakthrough modern user experience and streamline their end-to-end cloud commerce management. With the new release, Odin Automation Premium 7, you can now take advantage of a more intuitive, brand-new customer control panel, enhanced performance and scalability, and new SDKs (software development kits) for payment plugins and domains. You can elevate customer relationships, run more efficient cloud businesses, and sell more services with innovative scenarios through its advanced modern user experience. The platform provides the most comprehensive cloud commerce capabilities that encompass a storefront with ecommerce shopping cart, order management, integrated marketing tools, customer and reseller management, business and financial reports, and modern customer control panels with in-context selling capabilities to increase average revenue per user (ARPU). With Odin Automation Premium 7 you can: Deliver a Breakthrough Modern User Experience Simple, intuitive customer control panel delivering brand-new self-service experience Monetize every interaction with in-context upselling Streamline on-boarding and customer activation processes Any device, anywhere, using tablets and smartphones Boost customer engagement with real-time notifications Run a More Efficient Cloud Business More extensible and open payment and domain SDKs and APIs Cost-effective development of payment and domain plugins using PHP Domain SDK new capabilities, DNSSec, immediate availability check, etc. Enhanced performance and scalability Sell More Services with Innovative Scenarios New SaaS services with modern user experience Streamlined adoption process with APS services backward compatibility Shared hosting and VPS modules

3.1.3. Introduction of Stripe (New Payment Method) One of the perks of the new platform is the introduction of the payment method Stripe (https://stripe.com). Stripe is famous for supplying a fast and easy signup process for merchants who want to provide customers with (amongst other) credit card payments. We are excited about this payment provider as it allows our partners to add an automated recurring payment to the platform. Below you will find the process for adding Stripe to your account: 1. Sign up as a new merchant via www.stripe.com 2. Provide the API keys to LuxCloud 3. Start accepting automated payments on the platform

Your customers will have to provide their details only once and after that their monthly invoice will be handled smoothly and automatically via Stripe. Please note that Stripe is currently testing additional payment methods (for Europe): This means that in the near future you will be able to accept payments using many types of payment methods.

4.1.5. Email backup We are very pleased to be able to add this product to our lineup. For years, partners and customers have been asking for this feature as they see that a lot of end-users use their mailbox as a digital archive. Without it they would be lost and so the importance of the digital mailbox is becoming bigger every year. To ensure, both as a reseller or as a company, that vital information is not accidentally (or deliberately) lost, email backup and restore are essential. LuxCloud is launching not one, but three different products to achieve this. 1. Archiving by SpamExperts Incoming and outgoing mail that pass through our SpamExperts spam filter can now not only be checked for spam or viruses, but also copied for archiving purposes. 2. Email Backup by DropSuite This solution is backed up to DropSuite and accesses your mailbox every two hours to see what has changed. It allows you to restore the state of a mailbox to a certain point in time, and can also restore the mailbox to a different mailbox. 3. Office 365 Email Backup by Acronis This backup is stored centrally together with desktop, mobile phone and server backups in the Acronis Cloud. 4.1.6. Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service Cloud Infrastructure from LuxCloud allows you to provide cost-effective cloud infrastructure to your customers through a single, highly-automated platform. With automated operations and billing, a customer self-service panel, a built-in online store and the ability to create both virtual machines and containers, Cloud Infrastructure is a complete and flexible solution for professional customers that need to deploy one or more virtual servers.

4.1.7. Premium Support and Premium 24*7 Support Support-as-a-Service from LuxCloud allows you to focus on your core business, while building your own Cloud Service Broker Company. Whether you need round-the-clock premium level 2 partner support or temporary dedicated first-level support while starting up, we can provide you with the right solution. Offer your customers the best service and differentiate your business from the competition by offering quick resolution times and 24/7 support.

5. Improve Operational Support 5.1.1. Additional support staff The first and second level partner support team has grown with extra people in order to better and more quickly serve our partners. 5.1.2. Additional operations staff The operations team has been increased in order to make sure that during and after the migration normal operations will continue. 5.1.3. Introduction of a NOC (Network Operations Center) with 24/7 manned operation The emergency number stays the same but will be routed to a NOC that is staffed 24/7 starting on 1 February 2017. This means that in severity 1 incidents our partners can call this number and directly speak to an operations employee on the phone who is able to investigate and take action.
