1 MobileRing MobileRing is a brand-new and unique service bundle to the Super HOMELINE. With it, you are automatically assigned a secondary number for diversion of your mobile calls to HOMELINE.You can make use of its special ringing tone to differentiate calls diverted from your mobile phone to HOMELINE, bringing you much convenience and savings in mobile airtime charges. You may use the normal call forwarding procedure of your mobile handset to divert calls to your MobileRing number or use following GSM short code setting: Activate MobileRing function 1. Press* * 6 2 *. 2. Press your MobileRing number. 3. Press*. 4. Press key. To Cancel MobileRing setting 1. Press # # 6 2 #. 2. Press key. Points to Remember When the mobile phone is switched off after you return home, calls to your mobile number will be automatically forwarded to your HOMELINE. Switch on your mobile phone will automatically suspend the call forwarding setting. The registered line allows only one call at a time. Quick Tips: For easy reference, please save the above Call Forwarding and Call Cancellation procedures in your phonebook (Enter names such as HOME ON/HOME OFF). MobileRing + Call Waiting You can use Call Waiting on primary number & MobileRing number. Distinctive Call Waiting tone tell you which number is being called. 2

MobileRing + Call Fowarding You can select one of the following options when you subscribe to the service: Preset Function: - Only calls to the primary number are forwarded. Since the MobileRing number does not have Call Forwarding function, all calls to the MobileRing number will only ring at the base station. Special Setting: - If customers want to forward the primary number and the MobileRing number to the same destination, please call Customer Service Hotline 183 2832. MobileRing function is not applicable to certain telephone systems with preset ringing tone and certain buildings due to technical limitations. 2 Call Waiting Call Waiting alerts you with a special tone that indicates a second call is waiting to be answered. To Use Call Waiting When you hear a tone through the handset, Press FLASH * once. The first call is put on hold automatically. To Return To the First Call Press FLASH * once. The second call is put on hold automatically. To End Current Call Replace the handset. Your telephone will ring. Lift the handset and you are now connected to the held party. Suspend Call Waiting Suspend Call Waiting lets you have an uninterrupted call. When you hang up, Call Waiting is reactivated. 1. Before a call, press* 0 1. 2. Listen for dial tone. 3. Dial the outgoing number. * If your telephone has no FLASH briefly press the hookswitch. 3

Points to Remember If you ignore the Call Waiting tone, Caller 2 will continue to hear the normal ringing. When you hear the Call Waiting tone, you can quickly finish your conversation and hang up. Your phone will ring with Caller 2. You can have only two calls at any one time. Call Forwarding All Calls overrides Call Waiting. If Call Waiting and Conference Calling are both activated, the first one used will override the other. You can alternate between calls by repeating the steps above. Example Peter is having a conversation with a customer. He hears a Call Waiting tone which alerts him about another incoming call. He excuses himself from the first call, answers the second, and then returns to the original conversation. 3 Call Forwarding You can program your handset to redirect or forward incoming calls to another telephone or voice mail box. To Forward All Your Calls 1. Lift the handset. Listen for the dial tone. 2. Dial * 0 5. 3. Listen for the special dial tone. 4. Dial the telephone number your calls to be forwarded to. 5. Listen for the confirmation tone and replace the handset. To Cancel All Call Forwarding 1. Lift the handset and dial # 0 5. 2. Listen for the confirmation tone. Replace the handset. 4

Points To Remember Calls to all your lines will be forwarded automatically. A short reminder ring will be sent to your phone for every incoming call. If you are using i-cable MESSAGEMASTER Service, please refer to the MessageMaster Voice Mail User Guides. Example Peter and Paul are both out of the office. Peter uses Call Forwarding to redirect his calls from his office telephone to his mobile phone. Paul, who is visiting customers, redirects his calls to MessageMaster Voice Mail Service. 4 Conference Calling The Conference Calling allows you to add one additional party (internal or external) to an existing conversation. To Conference 1. Advise the original party that you are establishing a Conference Call. Press FLASH once. 2. You will hear three beeps followed by a dial tone. The original party is automatically placed on hold. 3. Dial the number of the person you are adding to the call. When the person answers you can talk privately. If there is no answer, or it is busy, Press FLASH twice and you are back with your original party. 4. Press FLASH once and you now have a 3-party conference call. To Release the Conference Calling 1. Press FLASH twice and you are back with your original party. 5

Points To Remember Conference Calling terminates when you hang up. Parties One and Two will be disconnected. You cannot use Conference Calling while being notified of an incoming call by Call Waiting. If Call Waiting and Conference Calling are activated, the first one being used will override the other. Example Peter calls Paul to discuss their meeting schedules. They need to know about the itinerary of another meeting participant, Mary. Paul calls Mary, using the Conference Calling feature (by pressing the FLASH key), and the group confirms their schedules. 5 Calling Number Display Calling Number Display shows the telephone number of the person that is calling you on the screen of your display phone. If you have subscribed to this service, the calling number will be displayed between the first and second ring. Messages That May Be Displayed (The exact wordings are dependent on your display device. Please refer to the user guide of your display device) Private number The caller has blocked the display of his/ her number. Unknown number or 00000000 The calling number is not available such as payphone numbers. Long distance Receiving an international call. Example You are expecting an important customer call and don t want to be engaged by other calls. As soon as your phone rings, you will know if it is the call you are waiting for. If it is not, you can take the number down or let the call be answered by your messaging mailbox and call back later. 6 Block-the-blocker Block-the-blocker + enables you to reject anonymous callers who choose not to transmit their phone numbers. Your phone will not ring and the calls are diverted to an announcement telling the callers that their calls will not get through. Activate Block-the-blocker 1. Lift the handset. Listen for the dial tone. 2. Dial * 3 7. 3. Listen for the confirmation tone and replace the handset. To Cancel Block-the-blocker 1. Lift the handset and dial # 3 7. 2. Listen for the confirmation tone and replace the handset. Announcement Sorry, the number you dialed does not accept blocked call. If you have used per call blocking, please redial the number without the blocking code 133.
