Introduction: ACX keyboard interface reader uses Windows HID interface, no need to install the USB driver, plug and play device. Reader outputs card number in the cursor position which pre-defined by users. RF Technology : EM, Mifare, SONY Felica, HID iclass and HID 125KHz Reader output : Decimal or Hex depends on the card number bits length. Innovative. Explore Page 1 of 10
2020 V1.0 Utility Program Operation Guide This program can apply for ACX 388x reader series ONE extra RS232 Y cable for reader configuration RS232 Y cable RS232 connect to PC, Long USB connect to PC for power supply, Short USB connect to 388x reader USB Female port. Run the 2020 V1.0 Utility Program.exe to configure the reader. Press the Scan Device button. Innovative. Explore Page 2 of 10
If reader connected properly, the program will read the configuration parametrs from reader and dispay in the window. Reader Wiegand Output : Number of bits to be output. For card serial number (CSN) setting as below: Sony Felica CSN : Original CSN 64 bits, reader output full 64 bits CSN EM CSN : Original CSN404 bits, reader output full 40 bits CSN Mifare CSN : Original CSN 32 / 56 bits, reader output lower 32 bits CSN For sector number (Usually for HID iclass and HID 125KHz) Input the correct card number bits output (eg 26, 35 bits etc) If user don t know the card number format, user can input 0, andusually click 64 bits data, then the reader will read the card number and append leading zeros to totally 64 bits card data length. This case is suitable for the user has HID multi-card number format card in use. Card Number Setting: User should know the card number location in the RAW data, input the bit start location of the card number and input the bit length. If you want to have leading zeros, please click Leading ZEROs appended Facility Code setting : User should know the Facility Code location in the RAW data, input the bit start location of the Facility Code and input the bit length. Please also input the Facility Code then the reader will check the Card s Facility Code first, if the Facility Code matches, the card number will be outputed else no output to the teminal. User can press each button to send its parameters to the reader or select the send all to send all data to the reader. After that, disconnet the cable 1 and connect the cable 2, hear 3 beep sounds then the reader connect to host is successully, user can check the device connect or not in the device manager. Keyboard Output : Click 64 bits output then leading zeros will be append to the raw data. Eg. If the reader wiegand output is 26 bits, then 34 leading zeros appended, if the reader wiegand output is 35 bits, then 29 leading zeros appended. Yoy can select Decial or Hex data output, if the reader wiegand output is not a 4 multipier bits, then leading zeros will be append to the raw data to be a multipier of 4. Eg. If he reader wiegand output is 26 bits, 2 leading zeros to be added. If the reader wiegand output is 35 bits, 1 leading zero to be added. Output Keys : Five 5 keys user can be defined in the reader after the card data output to the cursor position. Innovative. Explore Page 4 of 10
Card Number Format: HID Card : HID Prox, HID Mifare sector & iclass card. Symbol: P : parity check, A : Facility code, B : Card Number 1) H10301 standard 26 bits card format : PAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBP 2) H10306 HID 34 bits format : EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBO 3) H10304 HID 37 bits format : EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBO 4) HID Corporate 1000 format : PPAAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBP Mifare Card The card number length is 32 bits, no Facility Code & Parity Check Codes EM Card The card number length is 40 bits, no Facility Code & Parity Check Codes Innovative.
