Survey Design Improvements Version 15.1 represents another step forward in enabling simpler creation and management surveys that are both engaging for the survey participants and deliver actionable insights for business. Design of sophisticated question flows and rules that ensure the correct content is presented to each participant is now more intuitive and efficient. Survey Authors and Reviewers will be more productive, more creative and able to genereate better feedback experiences and insights. Improved Management of Pages and Blocks In version 15.1 a completely overhauled and expanded Pages View section is introduced to make managing the overall layout of survey Blocks, Pages and Questions easier and more efficient for the survey designer. Capabilities in the new Pages View section include: Setting Block, Page and Question options for rotation, randomization, visibility and branching Re-arranging Blocks, Pages and Questions with simple Drag and Drop controls Drag and Drop questions, pages, blocks Page 3 of 15
Blocks of Blocks The Blocks of Blocks concept makes it possible to place blocks into existing blocks. It provides greater flexibility in organizing pages into groups or topics and allows control of how and when those topics are presented to participants. Blocks of Blocks supports EFM advanced visibility and ordering configuration options: Present Randomly (with all or up to N presented) Present Rotated Conditionally Visible Block of Blocks with order and visibility rules applied The survey designer enforces limitations on configuration of blocks to ensure only valid surveys are created. A top level block can contain either additional blocks or pages, but not both. (In other words, pages can be children of blocks, never siblings.) Additionally, a second level block can contain only pages. Page 4 of 15
Report & Export Values Management Report Options is a new interface to enable a survey author to View and Manage Report Values, Export Values and Coded values across all questions from one place. Now it s much easier and faster to set these values and confirm they re set correctly for the entire survey. For Modern Rendering Report Values and Export Values can now be used in design interfaces in a variety of ways including Piping, Display in the question design (Report Values only), and in Conditional Expressions. Report Options screen can be accessed from Survey Designer, Actions > Report Options Page 5 of 15

Photo Feedback EFM Surveys now allow a participant to upload a photo in response to a question. This makes the survey experience more fun, engaging and personal. With photo responses a survey can give much richer insights into the customer s overall experience, usage of products, lifestyle and circumstances. Image Upload Question A new Image Upload question type is introduced in EFM 15.1, and available in Modern Rendering to be added into survey and managed just like any other question. Adding Image Upload question Image Slideshow To make reporting on Image responses more effective new Image Slideshow report element is added. It allows filtering on other questions responses to show photos from specific sub sets of the survey participants. Image Slideshow reporting element with Cover Flow effect Page 8 of 15
