Easy to Use... Easy Menu Driven Operation A Windows based interface and intuitive menu driven screens enable users to quickly master operation of the ONI system, from patient entry to DICOM 3.0 transfer and everywhere in between. In just four simple keystrokes, a selected predefined protocol automatically acquires all the prescribed pulse sequences (see figures 1-4). The system also features a Protocol Editor that can be saved on disk and Emailed to colleagues. Existing radiological technologists can be quickly trained for maximum staff utilization. 1 Patient Entry On the Exam Tab, click Patient Entry to display the Patient Entry Screen. Enter patient information in designated fields. The minimum mandatory information is patient ID and weight. 2 Scan Setup Following the Patient Entry Screen, Scan Setup consists of an image display area for graphical slice location, anatomy selection area, protocol list, sequence list and imaging option area. DICOM 3.0 Compatible Full compatibility with industry standard DICOM 3.0 networking capabilities permits transmission of ONI high field images for tele-radiology diagnosis and consultation anywhere in the world. Images saved in this format can be transferred using standard LAN or WAN networks. 3 Anatomy Selection Select the anatomy to be scanned by simply clicking the corresponding area on the displayed human figure, or choose from the pull down menu. Valid selections include left or right knee, leg, ankle, foot, arm, elbow, wrist or hand. Upon selection, the patient chair is displayed and the related protocols are listed. 4 Protocol Selection Click on the desired protocol. The corresponding imaging sequences are then displayed and listed in the order in which they are to be executed. Press Begin Protocol to scan patient.
