General Description DSV is the vertical single stage axial split casing s with double suction impeller. The casing is axially split, so it allows to maintain the pump without dismantling the pump from the whole water system. It has reasonable compact structure and can rotate clockwise or anti-clockwise to meet the different site condition. The shafts are sealed by reliable mechanical seal or gland packing. According to different applications, the bearings can be lubricated by grease or thin oil. DSV pump is excellent split case pump that are widely used in large amount water transportation, water lifting, fire fighting in water plant, offshore project, mining, factories and so on. Design features Construction A The lower bearing is rolling bearing lubricated by grease. Construction A The lower bearing is sleeve type bearing lubricated by water pumped Vertical construction Vertical construction request less landing. Heavy design axially split case Double volute casing (size dependent) avoid the radial hit to the rotor so prolong the life time of the pump and more reliable performance. Casing is axially split, so it is easy to do maintenance the replace the parts. Optimized double suction impeller The double suction impeller has optimized hydraulic performance and high efficiency. The double suction remove the axial hydraulic thrust to the rotor and protect the pump. Stuffing box and positive sealing The positive sealing is from the impeller, shaft sleeve and casing ensure non-leakage. The stuffing box is suitable to single mechanical seal, cartridge seal and soft packing Bearing assembly The upper bearings are standard with greased type rolling element from SKF /FAG /NSK / NTN. The lower bearing is optional for ball bearing or water lubricated sleeve type bearing. Renewable wear ring The renewable wear ring is positioned to the casing by the pins, easy to replace. Casing wear ring is optional if it is necessary. Reinforced shaft The shaft is designed for heavy duty service driving and suitable for constant speed and variable speed driver. Shaft sleeve Stainless steel or bronze protect the shaft. There is O-ring between the sleeve, impeller and shaft.
