You will enable the programmatic deployment of the following images: COS72 COS65 UOS14 Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Step 7 Step 8 Step 9 Step 10 Step 11 Log in to Microsoft Azure. Click New. In the search field, enter COS72. In the resulting page for the image, click Want to deploy programmatically? Get started. Click Enable. Click Save. Repeat steps 2 through 6, but enter COS65 in the search field in step 3 for the first repeat, and UOS14 for the second repeat. In the navigation pane, choose Azure Active Directory. Choose App registrations. Click New application registration. In the Create pane, enter the following information: Name Enter the application name. The value is only for informational purposes and can be anything. Application type Choose any of the types. The value is only for informational purposes and can be anything. Sign-on URL Enter the URL of your Cisco Tetration Analytics appliance. The value is only for informational purposes and can be anything. Step 12 Step 13 Click Create. The registered app pane displays, which has the same title as what you entered in the Name field. Record the Application ID value. 2

You will use the application ID as the Azure client ID when configuring the site in the Deploying the Cisco Tetration Analytics Virtual Appliance in Microsoft Azure, on page 3 procedure. Step 14 Step 15 Step 16 Click Settings. In the Settings pane, click Keys and create the key. Record the key value. You will use the key as the Azure client secret when configuring the site in the Deploying the Cisco Tetration Analytics Virtual Appliance in Microsoft Azure, on page 3 procedure. Deploying the Cisco Tetration Analytics Virtual Appliance in Microsoft Azure The following procedure describes how to deploy the Cisco Tetration Analytics virtual appliance in Microsoft Azure. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Step 7 Log in to Microsoft Azure. Click New. In the search field, enter tetration and hit Enter. In the Everything pane, in the search field, enter tetration. Click Cisco-tetration-analytics. In the tetration-analytics pane, click Create. On the Basics page, enter the required information, except as specified below: VM name prefix Enter a relevant name prefix. This value is used during the deployment. Admin Username Enter any value. This value is not used during the deployment. Authentication Type Choose SSH public key. SSH Public Key Enter the SSH public key. Step 8 Step 9 Click OK. On the Orchestration Server page, enter the Domain name label. Domain name label Enter any value. This value is not used during the deployment. Step 10 Step 11 Click OK. On the Storage & Network Settings page, enter the required information, except as specified below: Storage account Choose the appropriate storage account. Virtual Network Name Enter a name. Address space Enter the address space. 3

Subnets Internal Subnet for Tetration Resources name Enter any value. This value is not used during the deployment. Internal Subnet for Tetration Resources address prefix Enter the internal subnet for the address prefix, which is an internal IP address range. This value is used later in this procedure. External Subnet for Tetration Resources name Enter any value. This value is not used during the deployment. External Subnet for Tetration Resources address prefix Enter the external subnet for the address prefix, which is an external IP address range. This value is used later in this procedure. Step 12 Step 13 Step 14 Step 15 Step 16 Step 17 Step 18 Step 19 Step 20 Click OK. On the Summary page, wait for the validation to pass, then click OK. If the validation fails, go back and make the necessary corrections. On the Create page, read the legal terms, then click Create. The Dashboard page displays with a pop-up dialog that indicates that Cisco Tetration Analytics is being deployed. When the deployment completes after several minutes, a dialog display that indicates that the deployment succeeded. In the dialog, click Go to resource group. Click orchestrator1. On the orchestrator1 page, hover the mouse cursor over the Public IP address value. This is the IP address of the orchestrator1 virtual machine. Click the copy icon that appears to the right of the Public IP address value. Open a new browser tab, paste the IP address, add port 9000 after the IP address, and hit Enter. Example: 192.168.10.1:9000 This opens the Tetration Setup GUI. In the Tetration Setup GUI, you must upload the RPMs in the following order: 1. tetration_os_adhoc_k9-2.2.1.34-1.el6.x86_64.rpm 2. tetration_os_mother_rpm_k9-2.2.1.34-1.el6.x86_64.rpm To upload the RPMs, perform the following substeps: a) Click Choose File. b) Navigate to an RPM, choose it, and click Open. c) Click Upload. d) Repeat these steps for each RPM. Step 21 Step 22 Step 23 Step 24 Click Continue. On the General page, enter the site name and SSH public key. On the Email page, enter the specified email addresses. 4

Step 25 You cannot change any of the Layer 3 values. Step 26 Step 27 On the Microsoft Azure page, in the navigation pane, choose Subnets and record the external and internal IP address ranges. In the Tetration Setup GUI, on the Network page, enter the required information, except as specified below: Internal Network Enter the internal IP address range from the Internal Subnet for Tetration Resources name field of the Microsoft Azure marketplace. External Network Enter the external IP address range from the External Subnet for Tetration Resources name field of the Microsoft Azure marketplace. Enable IPsec This option enables IPsec between virtual machines. You can choose either option. Step 28 Step 29 Step 30 Step 31 On the Service page, enter the required information. On the Advanced page, enter the required information, except as specified below: Azure Client Id Enter the Application ID from the Enabling the Programmatic Deployment of Cisco Tetration Analytics Images on Microsoft Azure, on page 2 procedure. Azure Client Secret Enter the key from the Enabling the Programmatic Deployment of Cisco Tetration Analytics Images on Microsoft Azure, on page 2 procedure. Step 32 Click Continue. The Tetration Setup GUI runs the following pre-deployment checks: Site linter Switch config Site checker After the checks complete, the Token Validation page displays. Step 33 Step 34 Enter the validation token. Click Continue. Cisco Tetration Analytics begins to be deployed, and the progress displays on the page. Step 35 As the deployment progresses, you can monitor the progress as follows: a) Go to the Microsoft Azure page. b) In the navigation pane, choose Virtual machines. c) Periodically click Refresh. The table of virtual machines will show the Cisco Tetration Analytics Cloud as they get deployed. In the Tetration Setup GUI, the deployment is complete when the overall progress bar reaches 100%. Step 36 On the Microsoft Azure page, in the navigation pane, choose IP configurations. 5

Step 37 Ensure that IP addresses are configured for uivip and sensorvip. 6
