Connect to Wireless, certificate install and setup Citrix Receiver This document explains how to connect to the Wireless Network and access applications using Citrix Receiver on a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) running a Microsoft Windows based operating system. Connecting to the Lavalla BYOD Wireless Network Installing the Security Certificate Installing Citrix Receiver Connecting to the Lavalla BYOD Wireless Network N.B - If you are already connected to Lavalla BYOD, skip this section. 1. 2. From the list of available networks click Lavalla BYOD, tick the box to connect automatically then click Connect. Fig 2. Connecting to an available wireless network in Windows 8.1. 3. You will be automatically prompted for your logon credentials, in the web browser window enter your Lavalla username and password then click Login. Fig 3. The network requests your logon credentials. 4. Open your web browser and point it to a website (eg. www.lavalla.vic.edu.au), at the Security Certificate prompt click Continue to this website. Fig 4. 5. You will be prompted to authenticate for internet access, enter your logon credentials then click Login. Fig 4. The Internet User Identification Portal requests your logon credentials. 2. Type \\lcckilsr1\certificates\lavalla.local\wildcard.lavalla.local.public.cer in the open field then click OK. Fig 2. Use the run dialog box to connect to a network share. 3. When prompted, enter your Lavalla username and password then click OK. Note: You must type lavalla\ in front of your username. 4. Click Install Certificate. Fig 3. 3. If prompted, enter your Lavalla username and password then click OK. Note: You must type lavalla\ in front of your username. Otherwise skip to step 4. 4. Click Start. Fig 3.
