Bluetooth Pairing Enjoy hands-free communication in the car, office or at home with a Bluetooth enabled headset or Portable Accessory (Style-i). Get wire-free convenience up to 30 feet away. 1. Set your Bluetooth accessory into pairing mode. 2. Press OK, then press right on the Navigation Key twice to access the SETTINGS & TOOLS menu. 3. Select Bluetooth (7), then Add New Device (1). 4. If Bluetooth is set to off, you will be prompted to turn power on. Select Yes (1) and press OK. 5. The phone will now search for the accessory. Once found, highlight it and press OK for Pair. 6. Enter the passkey (typically 0000-4 zeroes) and press OK. If you don t know the passkey, please consult the user manual of the device you are trying to pair. Bluetooth accessories sold separately. Sending a vcard Sharing contact information made easy, send a vcard (electronic business card) to easily transfer names and phone numbers to a vcard-supported mobile phone or device via Bluetooth technology. 1. Press OK, select My Name Card (5). 2. Press OK to edit your contact information. Press OK for Save. 3. Press Right Soft Key for Options, then Send Name Card (1). 4. If Bluetooth is off, select Yes (1) and press OK. 5. The Bluetooth menu will appear. Select a paired device from the list and press OK to send. The VX5300 does not support ALL Bluetooth OBEX profiles. Note: Received vcard information will be stored under contacts.
Taking a Picture You won't miss any of the action with the VGA camera and flash. Capture photos live and share them all instantly with family and friends via PIX Messaging. 1. Press the side Key to activate camera mode. 2. Press up or down (then left or right) on the Navigation Key to adjust brightness. Press left or right to zoom. Press the Right Soft Key to adjust camera options. To turn on the flash, press the side Key located below the volume keys. 3. Press OK to take a picture. 4. Press the Left Soft Key for Save or OK for SEND. Taking a Self-Portrait 1. To take a self-portrait with the flip closed, press and hold the side Key for about 2 seconds. 2. Press up or down on the side Volume Keys to adjust the brightness. 3. Press the side Key to take a picture. Note: Captured photos are stored in My PIX.
Using Voice Commands Because it s LG, you know you ll be looking good, but you ll feel even better with the safety and convenience of Voice Command. 1. Press the side Voice Command Key. 2. You will be asked to Please say a command. Clearly speak a command from the list: (1) Call <Name or Number> dial a phone number by speaking the digits or contact name. (2) Send Msg to <Name or Number> send a TXT Msg or PIX Msg to a contact or number. (3) Go to <Menu> quickly access menus from the list of options. (4) Check <Item> check out a wide range of items: Phone Status, Voicemail, Messages, Missed Calls, Time, Signal Strength, Battery and Volume. (5) Lookup <Name> look up names in your contacts. (6) My Account access your Verizon Wireless account information. (7) Help general guidelines to using Voice Commands.
